I'm half tempted to do what Ben did in the GML (and perhaps elsewhere) and sim the season with injuries off in order to bring on FOF7 asap.OSFL

Actually, I hope it's not a shootout, because their shootout is probably better than our shootout.

gg, Charlotte! We kept it remarkably close considering we gave up an 88 yard punt return TD and had a -2 turnover differential, but Charlotte just made more big plays than we did.
Both QBs were harried quite a bit by the opposing defenses, and Douglas was pressured 10 times and victimized by 9 drops by his receivers.Last edited by FoosballWizard; 01-19-2014, 02:06 PM.

GG Foos! I feel like we got a little redemption for our loss in the playoffs last season. The punt return was a nice bonus. Glad we were able to hold you at the end. For a few straight drives it felt like I kept getting you to 3rd and 8 or so and you'd come up with a big conversion to keep them alive.
Youre right though both D-lines made it tough on the QBs but they still made plays and made the final few moments exciting!
Looking forward to a possible rubber match in the plaoyffs...:Charlotte Sentinels: :GM::Circa 2030:

gg bomber
A poor punt with just over 2:00 left set us up with a short enough field to pull out a win at the end.
We got lucky facing you with Van Meier hurt again. After sweeping the Hitmen during Meier's rookie season, we have not managed a single win against them in games where he was on the field. But we are 2-1 now in games where he's been hurt.
And after a 0-3 start we've crawled our way back up to 4-3. Unbeaten San Francisco is waiting to smack us back to to .500 next week though. They still owe us one from the playoffs last year (two if you count the re-sim)
