Well, all I can suggest at this point is we roll back to the beginning of late FA. People will have to submit offers/files for 2.1 again and we go from there. At that point the weights were still good.

As I've been away, is there any more insight into how/why this might have happened? Julio, I see you mentioned something about a licensing issue. Any additional info?

This may also be why some people are having trouble position switching C's or TE's to LS.
to touch on this iirc the range for LS is kinda small from like 260 ish to 280ish my former long snapper is a TE but i bulked him up to 290 for giggles now i cnat convert him but i CAN convert both my centers Bennett (280ish) and Kulaga (260ish) neither of which have any long snapping talent. but my starting TE Vaughn (70ish LS) is convertable and hes also 260 ish

Ben blamed it on past issues with the database, which is something that continues to haunt us, if only in perception.

The licensing issue is that in the past people who played with pirated or unlicensed versions of the game had all the weights reset as a way of DRM. Maybe we triggered something with the roll back.

Sorry Shark, not yet. My field assignment lasted longer than expected and I wasn't able to get anything accomplished with the league file. I don't want to rush anything at this point. I will have an update this evening.

I'm not sure I follow. Previously there were issues with the database which we know about, but that was with the database, not with the game files, and that's because of the way DBupdater worked.

This might be the only MP league so far to report this issue, but weight issues and other similarly weird things are NOT unheard of in FOF7. It just seems like Jim went through a lot of trouble coding in various anti-hack measures that are causing more problems than they are preventing.

If you haven't yet, submit a support ticket to Solecismic.

                        Ben's response is simply

                        If OSFL
                        Then Cheating

                        No need to overthink it.

I think it had more to do with rolling things back and the game hiccupping.

well ben's always been a bit terse and quite frankly unless he refunded everyone's money he HAD a fiduciary responsibility to the osfl and he did not fulfill it.

and even if it was a justification the fact that he only informed a select few of his findings is a bit shady to say the least

all that being said, its easy to say "well it should be what i think so im not going to look into it at all".

this is a rare occasion i agree with Nutah

                              Haha!

Really, nothing against Ben. It's just you see so many similar ish reports regarding player weight, everybody retiring, etc. Weird stuff that is explained as anti piracy measures. It'd be amusing if they were better at not punishing legitimate users. But that tends to be the rub with any kind of anti-piracy system.
