Sharks looking for the W against the Mechanics to stay in the hunt for the Wild-car spot or even the division, but itīs too far.

Also we have an eye in the Morgantown vs Charlotte game... If the Maniacs get the W or Dakota wins they will have the #1 seed in the NFC and could rest starters for a Play-off push.... So it is really good for the Sharks who needs to win all the three games remainning to win a play-off berth this year for sure.

Dakota has a Must-Win game vs North Liberty. We're not too good at winning this season, but this time we MUST.

Big divisional game this week. Battle for the title. If we lose, then the tiebreaker is gone and we have to hang on for a wild card. We win and we have a two game lead with two to play.

We've managed to keep our playoff dream alive for one more week, but just barely with a last minute FG over Phoenix. There's still a whole gaggle of 8-5 and 7-6 teams waiting in line for that last WC spot should we falter and our schedule just keeps getting harder.

We travel to Brooklyn this week. The division leading Hitmen whupped us 30-6 in week 8, in Camden, in what was QB Ethan Lepis' worst (and last) start of the season. We'll see if Nate Reese, the hero of 2031, has any magic left in his game.

We will also be playing without our best pass rusher, WLB Deon Poston is likely out for the rest of the season. This means we will be going up against Brooklyn with both of our starting OLB on the sidelines. Luckily we have just enough defensive linemen to run a 4-3 for one week.

Brooklyn has a host of key injuries of their own to deal with, but they had key players hurt last time we played, and it didn't seem to make any difference.

                GG Garion.

We put together a nice performance on both sides of the ball. Up 28-0 at half and were able to coast the second half. We needed this win to keep our outside chance at a wild card alive.

Huge win vs North Liberty and we finally looked like our old selves, despite even more injuries.

Still probably have to win out to make the playoffs.

Defense does it again. Namely, Shannon Fulton. Returned his 6th interception for a TD this season. I think he has more TD's than any of my offensive players.

                              GG bomber.

And yeah, that was some ugly football. We always look better against you guys in the games where Van Meier is hurt (which luckily for us seems to happen every year). But this year it wasn't enough, even with your top WR, RB, CB on the sidelines.

This loss puts us officially out of the division race (and effectively out of the WC race) but I do have to say it's about damn time Brooklyn wins a division title. All that talent and only 1 WC spot to show for it these last few years. The Hitmen are the only team to have never won their division (they were also the last team to have never made the playoffs until their before mentioned WC spot in 2030).

Although It's not in the bag for Hitmen just yet. Last year's division champs, Boston, are just one game back. The two teams split their head to head games (division tie breaker #1) and currently have the same division record, common games record and conference records (tie breakers #2-4). The remaining games for both teams consist of a common game (this week) and a division game (next week). This means any scenario where Boston ends up tied with Brooklyn for overall record is also a scenario where they hold a tiebreaker over Brooklyn and win the division.
