It may be toned down but isn't your team a prime example? Unless the coach just wants all the credit.

Only 218 yards of offense this week. Missing our starting RB. His replacement averages less than 2 YPC. Rookie, Morton throws two more picks. What a shitball game. WHAT?? We won?? Of course we did.
It took Morton's second TD pass of the game and a blocked FG return, that's right. You heard me. The ever common block FG return for a TD (70 yards BTW) by your 6'5" 302lb backup DE. BOOM!!
Two in a row now boys. Ready to take on the first place LCX. Bring it!!OSFL

I think it's only toned down a little but the importance of stud QBs has gone up, IMO. Even with two great receivers my team is only 15th in passing yards per game. We've been winning with defense, special teams and our running game so far.Originally posted by Matt View PostIt may be toned down but isn't your team a prime example? Ignore that last "bring it" quote. Just noticed we lost our starting FB. So now that's six injuries, most major, to offensive players. Starting WR on IR. Starting RB out for "unknown" with a hammy. FB has broken his foot and out for five weeks. Then there is the three interior linemen all questionable for the next three weeks.
I don't get it either. My SC is a 76 in conditioning. That's excellent at preventing injury.OSFL

In all honesty I feel like the game has become a war simulator and those with the least injuries win, which is pretty much how the NFL is.
