Based on my scouting, Scoggins would have been my first choice of the QBs available, even though he looks like a serious project being only 12% developed.

The guy I thought went too high is Kaplan. My scout isn't as good at rating QB's as Chicagos scout is, but I wouldn't have picked him til the 4th or 5th round.

Definite variation there for sure. He did score extremely high on the position drill though, and he is rated highly overall.. Just that my scout thinks he is a backup at best.
Funny, I had Kaplan as the 2nd best QB. This is great!
My scout hd him as an average QB at best.

My scout had Kaplan as very overrated, rating no where near Scoggins (underrated). Your scout is much better with QBs than mine, however. My scout absolutely trashed Kaplan.

            • Reference UFL: lost to Landshark 13-7 with a backup qb. . .I can live with that loss.

Now, back to the OSFL. . .

                • With the seventh pick we had Brooklyn taking RB Tim Hartman. Hartman becomes the second RB and second Georgia Bulldog taken so far. With the upheaval in Brooklyn I love this pick. You get a guy with excellent speed, agility and all the intangibles. But when you talk about Tim Harman I think you talk about vision. This kid has that 18 inches of daylight vision that scouts love to see. He's a patient runner, and a student of the game. He'll allow your line to setup blocks and explode into the second level.

Hartman's not the fastest, but make no mistake. He's got great ability but more importantly he's also dangerous from the shoulders up.

                    • I had Hartman above Richardson (#1 RB, #2 Overall!). LOVE the pick at seven. =D>

                      • Hartman was the guy I was going with at #8, thought he'd be there, but wasn't lucky enough to nab him.

                        • At #8 you have Memphis trading up to nab the fastest man in this entire draft Marcus Shroeder outta Texas Tech. Going in most scouts had Schroeder and Burke neck and neck. Schroeder has blistering speed, running an unbelievalbe 4.32 forty at the combine. On top of that he's a coach on the field. This kid understands the passing game. A former wideout he's taken that knowledge to the other side of the ball. I haven't seen a DB be able to read a recievers route better than Schroder in 15 years. This has helped him overcome a lack of agility which did worry some personnel people. He doesn't have the smooth hips than a Donnel Burke gives you. However his ability to diagnose plays and his excellent recovery speed make up for it.
