With the retirement of all time leading rusher Ed Bergandahl, the Phils were in desperate need of a RB. The selection of Kennedy Mayes may have brought the next franchise RB to Punxsutawney. Mayes if fast. Plain and simple. His 4.35 40 was the 2nd fastest in this years draft class. He also has an uncanny way of finding the openings in the line and shooting through. Once he does, he's gone. If there's a weakness to Mayes, it would be his hands. He's not the best at catching the ball out of the back field, but the Phils aren't drafting him to catch. They're drafting him to run and run he will.OSFL

with Graham in the twilight of his career and Capuco gone through free agency I need to bring a nice run stopper this year or next at the latest... I hated the phantom Bergedahl and now another.... I hope he doesn't turn into 70s rating

This Guard Hard 2 Read doesn't make me feel too much confidence but he is ready to jump into the field!! The Sharks needs a lot help in a weak OL which was a nightmare in the play-offs during the last years.Miami Sharks (BLB)
