  • Rivalries?

Well since we swept St. Paul last year, I know everyone else feels they can beat up on us. Are there any growing rivalries for the upcoming season? Pats/Colts type stuff. By the way no one in Illinois is really a reaper fan. They all travel to Iowa.....

Baltimore Bulldogs - BLB since '84

Portland Phantoms vs. Anchorage Gladiators. Portland swept the season series, but they met in the AC Championship game and Anchorage won when it mattered. One of the biggest rivalries.

Oh, and Portland vs. Washington Bombers. Acid chose where to locate his team, even though he knew I would want Seattle. Plus, they are really close geographically.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

I think my biggest rival is Port City. He's in my division. I'm a Eagles fan. He's a Cowboys fan. It was just meant to be.

So are my biggest rival has been.....you. The old owner was a douche and talked crap all the time. When we beat him in week one he was like "You're defense didn't do crap, our offense just sucks"....cuz we stopped him on 1st and goal from the one for four straight plays.

But we're not really good enough to have a rival yet. Maybe as we get better we'll develop a rivalry, but right now our rival is inexperience.

Oh and the only people from Illinois travelling to Iowa are in Moline and Rock Island, and to Chicagoans, Illinois ceases to exist any thing west of Rockford.

LOL, he retired, so maybe in 30 years you can stuff him in a box.

I think it's too early to really have any developed rivalries yet. They will blossom over the years. Diesel used the penalty bug to knock me out of the playoffs.... so I hate him... but, to be fair, I hated him before.

I don't really think there are many rivalries at the moment. But the good news is that the argument can be made that every game is a rivalry game since most people in this league hate everyone else.

Well, I love my man Hoosier, but I abhor losing to him. Same goes for Herbie. I don't know Denver as much, but I'm sure I will.
