We tried and tried to make a deal with safety Manculich last season, but we couldn't get it done, so the tag goes on him. I'm sure we'll try to work out a long term deal, but not sure if we will be successful.

Boy, this checkbook balancing is hard when you have one player take all your money. Had to tag Ward figuring I can reneg him to save some money. He wants $6 Million MORE this year than he's already getting with the tag.
So on to more creative ways to save money and potentially screw myself in the future.
Oh, and can you say "Holy deep draft Batman" There are some very nice new toys at the top of the class.Last edited by sawblade300; 12-09-2014, 01:13 PM.OSFL

Well, that might just wrap up our free agency! Still a lot of team left to fill, but unlike last year, when we swung and missed several rounds of players before signing the guys we did, we managed to get both our #1 choices this time.
It's sure nice having only $22M in cap penalties(that number was about 50 last offseason!)
With Roderick Sikkenga's retirement, there's no guarantee of stable QB play, and I'm loathe to drop too much money on a veteran. No, it has to be Kayden Esquivel's time now, and it's a good thing he now has a 76/76 RB to lean on.
Maybe the days of Boston averaging 2.5 ypc are over! Stewart has an exciting 3.83 ypc on his career. On second thought, what did I just do?Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Mentioning this since I know you mentioned the issue last season and it was affecting me, too, and then someone came in and said to just wait. Which I thought was crazy at first, but not anymore!Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.
