My only issue is time that my picks come up. If it's a work day and my pick comes up at 4am due to time difference I'm not going to stay up and try to see if the guy or guys before me pick. I have to work so sleep is needed. I think we should start the picks later so I'm not up at 4 trying to figure it out.

Portland makes my point... We are at 6.26 now... at 6.13 he was at 50%, because he missed another pick. Now we have 3 missed picks in a row by Portland. We would have saved time if he was down to 5 minutes after missing 2 consecutive picks.

I can't say this enough... all you need to do is set a list!

Yeah, we can discuss the start/end times as well. 8 to 11 EST is a number retained out of habit. We could probably accomplish good progress with 10 to 11. I'm not sure off the top of my head how this works for our English friends, but we do have 2 Hawaii owners and a number of West Coast / mountain guys.

On penalties, it just needs to be something that can be simply and sensibly implemented. In the utility the only option is a percentage slider. One thing we could do is say: if you miss your pick during the 14 hour period, you're put on auto manually. To be taken off auto you have to send a PM requesting it, but the 50% penalty will still apply.

i miss 1 draft and all hell breaks loose.


soooooo couple things...... apologies to Sawblade and the bunch but sometimes i need every minute of the clock to make my pick. yes ill have a queue but there have been several time when a player i wanted fell and if i autoed i would have missed it.


and i usually make it in time this year i missed my 4th but as many said i didnt get an email. im just not a huge fan of forcing the draft to run 1 round a day its just really tough for those of us outside the 48, hell outside the central time zone.

oh and Garion we have a coconut crab here with your name on it sir!

From 'All the guys'... I don't care if you are there and mulling over the decision or trying to make a trade... THAT is why the time is there. My problem is when people don't show up for their draft pick. THAT is where the problem is.
