This is especially for those new to FOF, but even for those who have played before. The 6.0e patch has made game planning quite different and much more intuitive. You're probably going to get much more of a sense that your team is doing what you want it to do this season. I would strongly suggest fiddling around in single player mode with different game plan ideas and different skill sets before we get to the preseason, even.

How do you do the online league in a single player mode? Seems like everyone knows how to "SIM" and then just not save the game and see what will happen with their players. Someone help a brotha out?

There is no way to take this league into a single player game. However, you can easily create a single player league and mess around with gameplanning using that.

I strongly second Skydog's suggestion. I think we are all going to experience quite a bit less frustration with game planning now.

Yes. You have to patch prior to the start of the preseason.
