Usually just need to export if you want to sign FA's, etc.

During the season I usually only export twice a week, for the games.

Yeah, the game doesn't recognize the midweek sims - as far as it knows it just moves from game to game during the season. The midweek sims were an invention of the online community so that you could process roster moves and still have time to change your roster and depth charts prior to the next game.

Like say a guy gets hurt. Without the midweek sim you'd put in an offer for someone, which would process along with the game sim and you'd be unable to work that new acquisition into your gameplan. This way you can sign guys, IR guys, trade guys, etc, and still have the time between the midweek and the game sim to work new players into your lineup.

Excellent information.....that would have been useful a week ago!!! Ha. Thanks for the info guys, hopefully I'll get him signed this SIM then.
