Huh. We met Pearl Harbor in the regular season and they put a pastin' on us. 47-16. Time to pull out that film.

This time around it'll be a different quarterback taking the field for Boston. Let's see if the rook can do better. GL ter13dan!

with Boston's stingy defense and all those weapons on offense, it will be a tough game
If your team can keep the score low, we should have an interesting contest
We're still disappointed how 13-3 doesn't earn you a bye in this league

Yeah, the AC has certainly risen! That's tough luck, not getting a bye there, you earned it.

I don't know if I'd call my defense stingy, though. They certainly look that way. But they've been quite accommodating so far!

Not sure what team will show up in this big game. The one who's defense creates turnovers and the offense scores points. Or the one where the defense takes the day off and the offense gives the ball away. Against a good Phoenix team, I hope it's the good one.

This will either be a huge upset or a complete embarrassment.

We squeaked out an OT win against Sentinels and that was in New Jersey and right in the middle of our 6 game win streak. We have since lost our two starting OLB to career ending injuries which forced us to move to the 4-3, then this last week against Boston we lost one of our DT for the duration of the playoffs pushing us back into 3-4. Apparently Plan C is for Charlotte. Can't wait to see how it works out.

Should be fun! Considering we haven't beat you since 2032 and We are the only team in the league who hasn't won a playoff game... We have a lot of pressure from the fans to produce a W this week...

                    **cough** 41-10 last year**cough**

all kidding aside this is a very different team we faced then. our main concern is Greg Ward, hes having a bit of a down year, last years game he had 6 tackles and 2 hurries.

                    key matchups

                    1. Ward vs Don Parrot 7 company the Riders allowed the 3rd fewest sacks last season in spite of Sammy Jennings winning the passing title (by 3 yards!). we keep Ward and company out of the backfield. the Phils have 6 guys with 7 or more sacks! so pressure will come from all angles

                    2. Heath Morton Vs the Phoenix secondary. morton threw 20 ints this year and phoenix tied for the league lead in ints with 22 could be a recipe for disaster. this is one were we almost dont want to get pressure on the qb and let Morton just keep throwing

                    3. and the one place i try to always have an advantage special teams. 3rd fewest kr yards allowed and best punt coverage unit, but the phills are pretty good in those departments as well ranking 7th and 6th in the same categories. we need to get every extra yard on special teams we can and make sure if the phils get the bal they have to go 10 or 12 plays and hopefully Morton will turn it over

gonna be a hot time in the Terror Dome!

GG, ter13dan. That looks like it was an exciting game -- winning FG coming as time expired. I don't know how we were able to contain Shedleski this time. Keeping Fike on the edge seems to have been productive against Pearl Harbor's tackles, as he got 2 sacks.

Nothing inspiring from the Boston offense. It was a real low scoring game. The defense really pulled through for us, something they haven't done too much of this year.

So...how'd all that work out for ya?

Very surprised to not only get the win, but to win in such a dominate defensive fashion. The defense really stepped up when it counted here. We completely shut down this powerful, high scoring Phoenix team. Our offense wasn't overly strong, but didn't turn the ball over.

On the plus side for you Strick, you held Ward to only .5 sack. But, you forgot about the other four guys that combined for the seven team sacks we had.

Having a game like only can mean one thing. Our other shitty team will show up in the next one.

And can someone please explain to me HOW a PUNTER can strain his ELBOW and be out for four weeks???? Seriously??!! Will we get a midweek so I can sign another punter?

                            GG Strick. Great season.

NM. I have no money. Looks like we go in with our kicker as our punter. Let's hope the offense does enough so we don't have to punt much.
