2038 Off-season

Completely and utterly off-topic.

I have a SP franchise going with my beloved Cowboys. We get to the Super Bowl in 2020 so I decide to watch it as we're playing Andrew Luck's Colts. Luck is a beast in the game but we do well initially and are up 10-3 at the half. Sadly our 5th round pick, game manager QB fumbles 3 times, one returned for a TD and another that set up a TD on the next play and we are down 27-10 with a few minutes to go.

I read the box score and quit out of watching before the game is over and hit the End Season button. As I start the off-season I look at the Bowl Winner and it's the Dallas Cowboys! WTH? I look through the stats and we beat the Colts 30-27 and my goat QB was the hero with 3 TD passes.

I would have really liked to watch the second game!

If you use Player Tracker don't forget to export form the game and import current rosters into Player Tracker.

After Aston runs the TC sim you WILL see some movement, mostly in rookies, that can give you an idea of where they'll end up after TC.*

We renegotiated the contract of the best left tackle in the game (according to my horrible scouts). Kendall Tyson resigns long term for 5 years, $91M and only about 17M of that guaranteed. He's a team guy that's for sure, because his demands were very reasonable all things considered.

I'm very happy to get that monkey off our back and have Granberry's blindside well covered for the next few years.

Thanks for this post as it has helped me make a offer to my 87/87 LT submitting a offer also 5 years appox 13 Mill less in Salary but appox 6.5 Mill more in bonus. Hope he takes it have another big contract have to sign the next year with a 97/97 LDE

That's a very solid (and low risk, to boot) deal for the best tackle in the game.

Last time I checked, Tyrell Edwards was still on my roster.

Late FA was a total bust for us. We're going to give that rookie FB a try at RB, if he can slim down enough.

We used our cap room to sign some undrafted FAs who look good now but will probably be crap.

I donīt know to be honest, I donīt think is a silly question but I guess will be listed in his last team, am I right?

It'd be all of them, but you generally will talk about whichever one he had the best career at.

Also, some players sign short one day contracts so they end their career at the team they were stars at (IG: Emmit Smith with the Cowboys and Kevin Faulk with the Rams)

Silly question I know but lets say you pick up a guy via FA or trade and he has a great career for you breaking a record etc and then even eventually going to HoF. Then you release this player for his final 2 years. Now say he played 3 years with team that drafted him, 7 years for you, and 2 years with someone else. What team is he listed as playing with when you look at HOF? I would think it should be with the team where he played most of his games at.

I donīt know to be honest, I donīt think is a silly question but I guess will be listed in his last team, am I right?

By the way. Do you know players in the OSFL that weren't great in their former teams and they turned around with another?? I bet there is some pass rushers playing 4-3 and later playing in a 3-4... Quinn Smith is 3.5 sacks shy to be the best all-time sack-er for the Sharks! When he was barely noticiable in his previous team Anchorage...
