Fire Coach question

I have a coach with a 2 years contract of $7 M and considering letting him go. If I do does this $7M go against my cap? If so are you hit all in 1 year or would it be 3.5 this year and 3.5 next year? Thanks

It doesn't go against your cap. It might go against your team finances, but to be honest, I'm not sure about that. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Team finances are only there to determine your order in the staff draft to begin with. If you want a new coach, grab a new coach!

Looks like I am getting a new coach anyways lol, mine retired. He was like geeze this GM gave me a team that was impossible to win with, and I'm to old to wait on this guy to wise up. He's already on a plane to Rio to celebrate leaving us.
