Yeah, these AI teams are crazy. I'm thinking of having all teams be human controlled at FA1. That seems to be when the AI does their crazy capouts, the kind that makes a team almost unplayable for two years. I mean, better to have a more empty team than to ask a GM to walk into the situation that Brad did, right?
The actual spending is not too bad, I suppose. It's high, but I won't judge :P At least they're beating out human owners, and landing good players, and these contracts aren't capouts -- yet.

I think that would be a great idea. I think you understood my point with your response. I don't care if the AI beats me out on a guy, I do care about making a team completely unplayable. Utah spent a ton of money on two players, and they have only 24 players signed. Not fiscally responsible, and not really prepping the team for the long term.
I'd rather come into a team with plenty of cap space and a bunch of awful players than a team full of capped out, overpaid, 30+ year old players. Very little trade value, no room for competing for good free agents, and you are going to be an average team, so draft picks usually won't be great either.
The good news: In 2-3 years, you'll be set up to start the rebuild process! Yay!

Hey now, the Utah AI is onto something! They've got two starting QBs! I'm sorry you can't see how spending half your cap on QBs would be an advantage. It's all the rage these days! Think of all the ............... fake FGs with legit starting QB kick holding and .......... ... you know, all those other plays.

Duh.
They can play with a right and left throwers QBs!! Can you imagine that in a play action pass?? Wow that's dangerous... Or both with their hands in Center's butt?? Centers will feel so loved... hahahaha

saw, did I piss you off or something? Every guy that I'm trying to sign in free agency you went in and made offers for. I was lucky to get that punter, as you came in with a slightly higher offer, probably with less bonus money.
