    Holy hell, yeah that's VSOD.

It appears you got hit with VSOD twice in one draft. OUCH!

Walters looks like a great pick, Nemesis. I think he moved more than just 8 points up for me; or at least, he did by the league scout. Here's what we got in Boston:

        WR Nolan Coles 22/36 » 23/37
He still looks like nothing special, but might have some value as a backup.

        OG Joel Luxmore 27/52 » 28/47
He improved in the league scouts' eyes while ours showed a decline. Probably doesn't mean much. Still shows past injustices if cut. Looks capable, but not great, which is what I was hoping. Would like to see a few more camps out of him.

        K Johnathan Galloway 38/69 » 38/68
The ratings are there, but he appears to be a placekick specialist with very little kickoff value. The opposite of what I usually go for. But what can I do? I made the 4th round pick. I'm stuck!

        DE Scottie Morris 30/43 » 30/46
Had a nice feeling about this one and it's paying off so far. Really happy he somehow slipped through the 7th round.

        DT Jimmy Knight 37/44 » 42/67
Woah! Hey there! Now this is good to see. The statics didn't even move, so I wonder if this was predestined. Looks like a solid 2nd rounder.

        OLB Phil Plake 18/28 » 18/28
Yeah, that'll do. He can be a gunner.

        MLB Chris Berry 22/44 » 20/27
Had a bad feeling about this one. Don't think it was volatility. I was too taken by his bars. To be fair, I think he would have been hard to sign as a UDFA.

        OLB Toby Burns 25/39 » 30/38
Doesn't get past injustices, but looks like a very usable player for me -- Nickel, Dime, coverage, special teams.

        CB Alonzo Jones 25/33 » 26/32
Holding steady at marginal. Not likely to make the team, but if I suffer any injuries, he could be in the mix.

        SS Johnathan Evans 40/64 » 40/59
OK. If he can get into the mid to high 50s, and stay there, I'll call this a win. A super mid 60s safety doesn't seem likely, but he should be capable.

Not actual death, but in terms of ratings, they died.

Other than the 1.9 LB, first indications are we did not get much out of this draft. I think my move down from 1.2 was the right one, the disappointing part is not being able to turn the extra picks into anything substantial. At least we still have another 2nd round pick coming next season from that trade.

I do like our 1.31 TE but ideally I would like to get more out of my 1st round picks.

Ah well, the rebuild continues. My bumper crop from last season all either gained or held, so that is very positive.

Wondering whether the hit to 1.30 pick ILB Bergeron was a volatility hit or if he was really that bad. From all my research, I think it was a volatility hit... which really hurts with Greeley holding out.

5.6 NT Gage Milum is up +3/+7.
                    4.7 C J. R. Gerhardt is up +6/+4
7.7 FB Norbert Reado is +5/-1
1.30 ILB Philip Bergeron is +3/-21
1.7 SS Claude Dugger is +7/+9

So, with the exception of the 1.30 that I traded up to get, everyone fared pretty well. Bergeron really pisses me off.

Tough to say considering his static bars didn't drop at all to me.

My brief experience with this game says that you have to let these guys develop a lot longer than EX2 to see where they will land.

not much good news coming from the Motor City

Perea DE 34/71 > 36/54 - from now on the Mechanics' official policy is to bring in defensive ends during late free agency only. He gave us a big fat donut during his first preseason game.

                          Ingram MLB 19/57 > 25/53

Grant TE 25/41 > 27/38 - caught a td in his first game.

                          Fincs DT 21/49 > 23/31 - so, yeah

                          Hinkle OLB 19/36 > 28/43 - he's a gem! a bona fide back-up outside linebacker!

                          Berman QB 15/37 > 18/31

                          Reid 16/36 > 18/30

I usually wait until the end of their rookie deals to take a decision on them... Is a little bit down the line but in this new versio is what you have to do :)
