  • Week 10 Pregame News and Notes

Can you believe it's week 10 already?

After a most embarrassing loss to the mighty Phoenix Riders last week, Los Alamos(4-4) travels to Denver(1-7), licking their wounds and lamenting that their playoff hopes are all but vanished.

RB Henry Harrell, benched for 'undisclosed team violations' last week returns to the staring line-up in an entirely reworked gameplan.

Denver's defense has proved to be a strong point this season for the Grizzlies, as has their rushing offense (averaging 4.16 ypc, over a yard more per carry than they allow). Taking that in mind, look for Harrell, along with FB Dominic Caballero to be featured in the Monsters' passing attack this week.

On the other side of the ball, Los Alamos needs to find a way to corral RB B.J. Mueller who, in eight games, has amassed 602 yard (4.43 ypc).

Regardless of the outcome, someone will earn their first division win this week.

I'm trying for a kinder gentler Hoosier.. .graceful in victory, humble in defeat. . .

When you're right, your right Sergeant.

Someday... maybe Denver or Utah will be able to eek out a win against you.

You've gotta keep in mind, I was raised on the McCasky/Tribune school of team management.

The odds are good that you will, my friend. It seems I've lost any concept of solid football fundimentals (see Los Alamos vs. Phoenix)

This week is a 'drawing board' game plan. If you can game plan against 'Vanilla' you just might come away with the W...however, FOF is picking me and all my starter's are healthy this week.

I get 3-5 Kalipsel at home.

This is a very important game to keep chase of Washington for the division.

Lucky for you. Or not. We have not won on the road this season yet.

I dunno, man, when he has a team he's comfy with, he just seems to not only have the right plan, but he sure gets his share of the breaks, too. It KILLS me. :)

I'm still not happy with my offense, btw. Dickerson is definitely coming around, but there's just something missing. It's probably Lucky. We might have to consider a new QB this off season.
