  • Help me out

So, basically I am struggling on a few issues.

Every day this week I have sorted out who I want activated for the game and who I want deactivated. The game is played, the next game file is imported and some of my players I activated are now deactivated and vice versa.

    So what happened?

I always make sure I have 46 players activated for the game.

I do click recommend entire game plan and I do click recommend all depth charts. Does this then put the control into the AI hands in activating / deactivating players as well?

I don't have any prompt messages when I export so everything should be ok, right?

I don't have a backup of the PRE4 sim (forgot to do it), so if anyone hasn't imported yet, they could send their most recent OSFL import files to me and I can check this out.

However, I do see that Portland signed players in Week 4 and Week 5 -- could it be you didn't account for this? They will show up on your roster active.

Do you check that your file is in the server?

This could be right I guess. So if I put an offer in for a player, I need to create a space in the active list? What if the player doesn't sign? Will the AI then change the active / deactive players again?

The import and export is fine as far as I can see as I am signing new players, changing positions and numbers etc

Yeah, if you're going to sign a player, you should export with 45 players active. That should be OK, but I'm not 100% positive. I *think* in that case the game will simply activate another player, rather than re-do everything. Note that in this case, you will get a message saying you only have 45 -- but since you'll end up with 46, that's OK.

You can send me a PM asking me to deactivate somebody if the player signs. For example, "If [New Offer] signs, deactivate him." Or "If [New Offer] doesn't sign, activate ___."

Iglf you sign one player you have to leave 45 players active with one spot for that new player. If not everything is mess up

Yeah, no worries! Apologies if all of this wasn't super clear. It can be kind of confusing at first.
