Although anything but sexy, Anchorage pulls out a 29-14 win over Portland thanks largely to our Kicker, who went 5/5 including two over 50 yards.

        GG and GL, Rush.

Well played aquatix. Gonna need to look into it a bit more, but first impressions were turnovers were crucial and I think the kicker won it for you. Not great QB play from either side.

          Moving on...

We were able to squeak one out against Port City. Our offense looked much improved over last year, and we actually put together some decently lengthy drives that ended in touchdowns. That just didn't happen last year, at all. We travel to Boston next week, where we hope that Aston continues on the trend that he set last week.

In spoiler because results. Just an ethics thing.
                  Thanks for the spoilers.

You guys completely shutdown any thoughts we had of running the ball. But for some reason, we tried to run the ball a lot more than I wanted to anyway. Going to have to adjust that for future games.

Don't feel bad about Granberry's performance. Vodka does that to nearly every defense he faces. :)

Thanks Rob, yep...due to injuries, all 3 of my QBs got playing time...unfortunately, I'm not carrying a decent backup...I'm still not sure if Killian is a good QB or a tease. :)

You're defense shut down my back completely! He got 4 yards.

My QB picked up 50 though

Just reading everyone's post for most part kinda sounds like it was not impressive week offensively. Defense ruled week 1.
