huge game for Port City as we take on division leader/rival, Memphis. Trying to climb our way back to contention. Should be a good one. Their defense is tough. Hopefully my veteran QB doesn't revert back to his Drew Bledsoeish ways.

If we can somehow beat Dakota this week, we will remain undefeated in the division. We have already surpassed our win total from last year. My concern is that we are not nearly as good as our record is. Our 3 losses have come to two 7-2 teams and a 3-6 team. Our six wins have been against teams with a combined 10 wins.

Big game on Sunday. If we can get the win things get very interesting in the division. If not, well, looks like the Totems will be out of the playoffs. Basically, I see this as a must win.

Big divisional match up with the Phils this week. A win here SHOULD go a long way to staking a claim on the division going into the stretch run.

I agree. You gotta win this one Dakota. I need a lil' help catching St. Paul.

We have a huge game against Las Vegas this weekend- Last year, we got our first win in franchise history at their place, but they beat us at home toward the end of the season. But then the games didn't matter too much last year either. This year, the games will be a key factor in the NC West divisional race, so a lot is riding on them.

The two teams are fairly evenly matched, but their strengths are in different areas. Offensively, Vegas leans toward an air attack, Yuma prefers to grind the clock on the ground. Defensively, Vegas' strength is their secondary, while the front seven is the core for Yuma.

The special teams edge may go to Yuma, but if so, only slightly.

It seems to be a fairly favorable matchup for us, simply based on the difference in playing styles and team strengths, but we'll have to have a good pass rush and sound LB play to counter the running and throwing skills of Damon Bishop. We'll also have to keep up with a great receiving corps, and Offensively it will be huge if we can get our ground game rolling this week and control the clock.

My prediction is that it will be an intense battle that will come down to turnovers, and the last turnover will decide the game. The score will probably be something like 16-9 for whoever wins, and it will probably be a defensive TD that decides it. I'm really looking forward to this one on solevision.

As for San Francisco, I have a gut feeling they will NOT lose this weekend. Just a hunch.

We have 4 of those 10 wins. And Myron had, arguably, his best game of the season against ya'll in the loss. I know I'm looking WAY ahead, but our week 17 matchup looks like it may shape up to be an early playoff game.

An important AC West divisional matchup with John Denver's Grizzlies. . .

A win keeps our AC West divisional streak going at 10-0 with important matchups left with Utah and Denver. . .

A win keeps us in pace for a playoff spot. .

Riders need to protect better. . .and defense needs to produce more turnovers. .

                        Good luck Denver. . .

I'm so afraid of this week. Although the team has been playing well over the last few weeks, Im afraid of a possible letdown against Chicago. They are always hungry and look to have a late game breakdown last week against St. Paul. Our defense should be up to the challenge but can our offense squeeze out the points to keep our defense safe? 8O

Can Gainesville win on the road? Thats the big question. 3 straight road losses this season has the team questioning whether they are a playoff caliber team. Still, the three losses were against 3 of the top 10 teams in the league (Columbus, Las Vegas and Yuma). The Gaels get a shot at their first under 500 road opponent in Charlotte. Must win game for the Gaels if they want to remain in the play off hunt.

Maybe, but we could lose out and go 6-10 also. I'm just waiting for that big injury to Galloway, or for our defense to just start croppie flopping. Let's hope that week 17 game is meaningful for both of us.
