  • Pearl Harbor stepping down

Camden, NJ -- In an urgent dispatch sent via his finest carrier pigeon from the commissioner's office high atop Mount OSFL, Commissioner Skerik informed fellow owners on Wednesday that our own robster has vacated his post as General Manager of the Pearl Harbor Defenders, effective immediately. Technically it was effective when he lost interested and stopped exporting, but we'll go with "immediately" for the purposes of this article.

nflchampion, he who is first on the vast and expansive waiting list, will be contacted this evening in regards to filling the vacancy. If he spurns our advances, so we shall continue down the vast and expansive waiting list until we find someone able and worthy of joining our ranks. Rest assured that we will be back up to full 32 owner capacity with all due haste. But until then, the Defenders will be under the watchful, inhuman, unfeeling guidance of Mr. FOF. Which means he'll probably contribute just as much to the forums here as the actual human owners.

In the meantime, let's all help robster out the door and on his way in the grand and time-honored tradition of the OSFL by calling him a quitter and a douchebag. Someday, when we have awesome new forum boards and phatty phat HTML pages for the league, we will make him rue the day that he abandoned us amidst our humble beginnings. At least we'll always have the banner to remember him by. Take care robster!

Good move. Borgs are better than nobody. It's better to have a team on CPU control than someone that's losing interest and letting his team rot. (Robster quit the UFL, too, FWIW. No hard feelings. He was upfront about it.)

Keep it rollin, Skerik! I've got more zebras to fight on my quest to the playoffs!!!

Hey, thanks for not resorting to the name calling. I'll still stop by and check things out, I just wasn't "devoted" enough to my team and the league and that wasn't fair. Sorry for taking so long to make my decision to leave.

Oh, I thought it was common practice to release all your players before you quit, I guess you may have to skip this next sim. :D

I think I'm at the top of the waiting list, and I'm in if you'll have me. Of course, I'll have to figure out all the uploading and procedures and so forth, but I've been looking forward to giving this a shot.

Edit: Skerik, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. My email filtered out your message and I just now saw the PM on OS.
