We have pulled into a three way tie for the AC South lead with Waco and New Orleans. This is going to be a tough stretch for us, hosting South Maryland and Punxsutawney before heading to Brooklyn and New Orleans. We finish with Camden at home and Waco on the road.
If we can somehow traverse that minefield and make the playoffs there will be no doubt that we belong there. If we can't, we wouldn't have made it far in the postseason anyways. Either way, it's going to be fun to see what we can do against some playoff caliber opponents.

Made some wholesale changes to our formation usage. I saw that we were running a 3 Wide set on run plays a whopping 30% of the time. No wonder we weren't getting any yardage on the ground.
Also make some changes that should affect how we play in the red zone. Also added some more variety in our defensive game plan. I'm not sure how this will all play out but it is fun to try it all.
GL, Gainsville. I don't want you to win obviously, but praying for no major injuries for either team.

SpoilerA big 34-7 win on the road as the Bombers defense shows up in a big way this week, allowing less than 250 yards of offense for the 2nd week in a row.
Everybody played well today for us, but I'm pretty sure it was huge for the offense to get Kendall Tyson (T) back. Granberry threw 266 yards, 2 TD and MOST IMPORTANTLY no interceptions. The rookie RB, Jose Parrish ran for 127 yards on the ground. Ryder Sheldon (WR) had 5 catches for 132 yards and 1 TD. We picked Covington off twice and forced 2 fumbles. Just an all around good day for us.
For only the 2nd time this season (but in consecutive weeks) we have averaged over 4 yards per carry on the ground. Unsurprisingly, we have played well offensively in both of these games as getting some production on the ground takes so much pressure off Vodka N. to do it all.
We came into this game playing a bit more conservatively on the defensive end as we didn't want to see a living legend like Covington torch an overly aggressive defense. Noticeably, we only had 2 sacks today but we did pick off Covington twice, so in the end it worked out for us today.
One thing to note is that at 36, Covington still has some wheels. I'm glad I wasn't around when this guy was in his prime.
