With one game to play, here's how things are shaping up....

AC North:
Anchorage (9-6, 3-2 division)
Kalispel (8-7, 5-0 division)

These two teams match up this week in Kalispel with the division title on the line. If the Stags win, they'll take the division with a 2-0 record against rival Anchorage this season.

AC South:
Memphis (10-5)

AC East:
Motor City (10-5)
Lake County (9-6)

Another division title on the line in Lake County this week. If LC pulls it out, they'll take the tiebreak and win the division by virtue of a 2-0 record against Motor City.

AC West:
Utah Bees (10-5)

NC North:
St Paul (12-3)

NC South:
Morgantown (11-4)
Columbus (11-4, clinched WC)

NC East:
Camden (11-4)

NC West:
Las Vegas (13-2)
Yuma (11-4, clinched WC)

The NC is decided, though the second first round bye is still up for grabs if St Paul loses this week to North Liberty. Gainesville, despite a 9-6 record, is on the outside of the playoffs looking in thanks to a brutal NC South division.

In the AC, without running through all the math and depending on how things shake out on the final weekend in the North and East divisional races, it seems like there are seven or eight teams who will be battling it out for the two wildcard berths. So there should be a lot of scoreboard watching during Sunday's games.

-If they win vs. Kalispel they have the division.
-If they lose vs. Kalispel, they need two of PHX, LAC, or LAM to lose for WC.

Kalispel (8-7)
-If they win at Anchorage, they have the division.
-If they lose, they would need PHX and LAM to lose for WC.

Lake County (9-6)
-If they win at MTC they have the division.
-If they lose, they need they KAL to lose or both PHX and LAM to lose for WC.

Phoenix (8-7)
-If they win at Utah, they are in as WC.
-If they lose, they are out.

Los Almos (8-7)
-If they win vs. Denver, they need PHX, KAL and LAC to lose for WC.
-If they lose, they are out.

All the 7-8 are eliminated.

Well, Utah poses a problem for me. I wanna win and get into the playoffs, but we're banged up and depth really is suspect for the Riders. Offense has let the defense down all season and the o-line is to blame for most of our problems.

I'm gameplanning for a serious contest, but I'm not sure the Riders are up to the challenge.

I don't think there is a scenario where I don't make the playoffs. But, for now, the goal is to get the win and our 2nd straight AC East Division crown. A first round bye would be nice as well. Our Rookie #2 QB was OK last week, but I'd love to see Glen Hecht around in our first playoff game.

We're planning on giving Rookies QB B.J. Whitener, DE Ernie Andreou, and LT O.J. Foulke a look this week by letting them start- We're also resting one or two more starters to prepare for the playoffs the following week.

We still want the win, but its going to be up to Whitener to show he has the ability to bring us one.
