Congrats to those who won and good luck next weekend. I will be out of town this weekend, so the next sim will be Tuesday - Playoff Midweek 2. The next set of games will be one week from tonight, next Thursday.

We beat Morgantown at their place earlier in the year (although they were without QB Cosby). Now we get them at our place. This should be a good matchup, I hope. Congrats to the teams that won.

Guess I'll get a running game this offseson and see if we can't make a better showing in the postseason next year.

We started bad, but looked to be rebounding when Clements was picked off in the red zone following a holding penalty, which was the only turnover of the game.. From there, it just slipped further and further away from us as Morgantown appeared to be on fire all game long. Our defense was nowhere to be found, probably partially due to Otis Vaughn being off the field more than usual due to his injury, but we still weren't able to slow down the run game at all and Cosby hit deep balls on us regularly to really tear the heart out early on.

The low point of the game came when we opted to give Morgantown another shot after stopping them on 3rd and 1 at our 30 by accepting a penalty. On 3rd and 11, still only ahead 10 points (17-7) they promptly moved the chains and basically sealed our fate, eventually going ahead 24-7. After that, it was too little too late.

Don't know what our coach was going for there, but I assume he was trying to push them out of field goal range.. But from the 30, its a hard kick to make and if they missed it, we would have had outstanding field position.. If only I were on the sidelines... :)

Great win Morgantown, we'll be back next season.

Team was awstruck during first half , but played respectable in second half. We will return....

Why did we decline that holding penalty late in the game??? I like my chances at stopping them twice from 3rd and 24 from their side of the field rather than a 4th and 8. Yea, we should have been able to stop them on 4th down, but I have to move them back especially since they need a TD to win.

Hopefully, I can add some more offensive weapons to the squad next season and add some depth in the secondary.

Highly anticipated rematch between Vegas and Columbus. This will be the 2nd year in a row these 2 meet in the playoffs.
