GG SMD. Another heartbreaking loss in overtime! I felt we outplayed you guys but it just didnt go our way. thats been the theme this year. Sucks!

Yeah, you did outplay us, and then managed at the end to push it to OT. Interesting OT. Thankful we got the ball first, with the FG, FG, FG scenario.

I feel the same way about our year. We've had several games that we played well enough to win, and been beaten. With the all the volatility or big moves by players through TC, then the way the season itself is going, I'm very frustrated.

Having this much receiving talent should be illegal. Wow.

We have spent a lot of HIGH draft picks on receiving talent and for the most part we have been lucky.

We used:

- a 1st and 5th to trade for WR Upshaw
- a 1st to draft WR Ramsey
- a 1st to draft TE Fadler
- a high 2nd to draft WR Rafter
- a high 2nd to draft WR Gideon
- a high 2nd to draft WR Gilmore
- a high 2nd to draft WR Shaw

Along with all those hits we had misses on:

- TE Rex Plank (1.17) traded to Utah
- TE Toby Manning (2.13) traded to Port City

We also lost 4th round WR gem Deion Winslett to Columbus in free agency.

Your Oline is super young and lacks cohesion. That's actually quite true of your entire offense. Keep building and you'll be primed for good things. That is unless the game hits you with a bunch of random bad stuff, which happens to us all.

I honestly didn't think we'd stomp you last week and was very surprised at the result.

That said, Camden Recker is not a starting QB to hang your hat on IMHO. I was shocked Julio got the performance out of him that he did. What you're seeing this year is more in line with what I assumed he would be like.

You've also had a brutal schedule. Absolutely brutal.

Thanks for the thumbs up Garion, i do feel like my offensive is kinda young, and i do know i took Recker as a filler, should have been back up to Cassidy if he didnt dropped that much. Its somehow on the defensive side i expected more, i felt i had one of the goods of the league on that side of the ball, the stompings i took during the season somehow affected me :P On the good side, i might be in for a stud to add to my team next year.

GG Pheonix. All I have to say is that was not my game plan.

Do I have some adjustment set wrong? In the 4th quarter, tie game and backed up to your 3 yard line, how does a coach call three pass plays in a row? I especially want to know how that happens when your game plan is set to run the ball 60% of the time.

GG Julio & Yuma, We gave up too many points before we started to score anything. We also lost our QB for 4 weeks so it was a double loss for us. Now to see if my off season signing of Walt Johnson pays off or not.

as i was thinking i was starting to get a grasp on the game i realise im in a downward spiral will my opponents outdoing me. Worst, i am just clueless of why and what could be done to get my team on track. Am I overrating my team as i felt i had a shot at a 8-8 season or even a playoff birth? Or is it i got poor managing skills of my team?

Guess we are now looking toward the draft :p

Trust me I feel same way, I also feel that the coach a person has, has something also to do with it. However that is just my thought on the subject.

An unremarkable game where both sides struggled on offense, Phantoms win 20-3 against the Gladiators. Glad to be 5-5 after an 0-4 start.

Proud of the fight, that's how you take down an opponent. It was like we were playing air.

Sorry -- wait. I've just been informed this was a BYE week. And we're favored to drop to 4-7 at the hands of 7-3 Lake County next week. Argh!

gg St. Paul

It wasn't a pretty game but we managed to stay in it despite an awful start due to St. Paul being held to field goals. We barely held out in the end.

The injuries keep coming with some of them just being silly. Rookie UFA Elliot Hopper was resigned after we cut him after the preseason since we lost starting center Fernando Domenici. Hopper promptly injured his back and is now out 34 weeks for back surgery. We just cut our third RB and Herndon, our RB2, promptly sprained his wrist.

If we win out we might just snag a wild card spot at 11-5.

This game was disgusting to see in the Solevision... We canīt play worst, itīs impossible. And McEachem down for 2 weeks + Galligher sprained knee for 4 weeks, okay buddies, thank you so much

Rating bumps during the season?

Fordham just went back to 67/67 via my scout...after being in the 50's post Ex-2...after being in the high 60's last season.

His numbers are bad this year compared to last. Everything is way down. If he suddenly gets his old form back then this game is on crack. I can see scouting being off but sudden rating changes that affect performance would be silly.

I think it has something to do with your scouting not being very good, though his ratings have been jumping all over the place for me too and I'm almost certain my scouting is better than yours right now. Either that 50's rating by you was a lie by your scouts (I never saw him that low), the new rating is a lie or that low score was replicating a player coming back from injury.

His numbers from last year, the 70% completion percentage at least, was likely unsustainable. His average per attempt hasn't gone down a whole lot, you're probably throwing longer more often than last season.

Would it surprise anyone that Waco is lining up with SingleBackFourWR more than double the league rate?

Did some game plan adjustments and BOOM! Lots of yards and lots of points. Let's try that again. We'll need a bunch more of those things to get into this playoff race.
