After starting the season 1-5, we took down high-flying Brooklyn to commence a 4-1 run and are favored this week to pull up to 6-6.

The Hitmen are now just 6-5, and their QB is out.

Sure, we'll have to beat at least one of Camden and Ohio to better .500 this year, but the opportunity really is laid out now. Gunning for 2nd in the division, and making the postseason. Here we go!...

Seems as though Motor City stuns many (including themselves) as they end their 4 game losing streak by taking down the final undefeated team. As the GM I wish I could take some credit, but honestly I was still hanging up pictures of my family in my new virtual GM Office. Maybe the change in the front office motivated some of the players. Whatever the reason, with 4 out of the 5 final games at home there is slight hope among fans that we may sneak into the playoffs. Only time will tell.

Aaaaand my fears were confirmed. Down my starting TE and WR we just couldn't open up our gameplan enough to be effective. We are just not built to run the ball all the time and it's showing more and more every week:

Easy to lose when you give the ball to the other team on a short field. It's also easy to lose when your QB is running for his life the entire game.

At this point I'm not even surprised anymore. We lost Vernon Clancy to a serious injury early in the game and he was replaced by Don Wells, who is the only other healthy RB on the roster but has only been on the team two weeks. It looks like an interception by Timothy Alfaro will seal the game for us in the 4th quarter, but Don Wells fumbles it and Charlotte scores a TD taking the lead.

Hopefully I'll figure out FOF7 by next season. :) This is the most disappointing season I've ever had with this team.

Washington puts up 41 on Punx with a great showing by the offense. We put a lot of pressure on Morton who was hurried 7 times, knocked down 7 times, and threw 4 interceptions. Unfortunately, Jim Quinn (DT) will be out a few games as we won't risk a knee injury because he'll be absolutely necessary if we want to make any kind of noise in the playoffs.

Now we've won 6 of our last 7 (and that loss was in OT) and take a commanding 3 game lead in the AC North with 4 games left in the season.

GG Aston, I was thinking Oh we got a shot of 4th win when we went up 14 - 0 then get it called back and have to settle on FG. That seemed like it took out all the fight of this team. never scored again.

GG Ira! Close games are all we can manage :) You guys led for a while, and then we finished (barely). One of these days we'll get 200 yards passing again.
