    GL in the last game of the regular season!

    Sharks will do same as Morgantown, it means rest starters and set the team ready for the WC game.

    Ohio River surprisingly won the division again!
    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

    I may actually get some starters back in time for the playoffs!

      With ourselves and Ohio River both losing in week 16, we backed our way into home-field advantage along with a first round bye. We finish the regular season off hosting Dutch's New Orleans team. Although we will be resting a few of our starters, we hope to finish the regular season off strong.

        South Maryland and Boston both got off to miserable starts this year and it looked like parity was over in the NC East. Now, all three teams behind Camden are 8-7 after every team in division won last week.

        SMD will tussle with Brooklyn, and Boston will take on Camden. There's a playoff spot up for grabs.

          I don't know what the tiebreakers are after division record and head to head, which are ties between us and Boston, but we seem to have the tiebreaker currently against both teams. So, basically I believe if we win we are in, unless the tiebreaker is a points thing, then we'll need to do a bit of scoring also to get into the playoffs. I do know that Boston has the tiebreaker on Brooklyn, so they'll need to beat Camden and have either a Brooklyn win or tie to get into the playoffs. For Brooklyn, they need a win and Boston loss to get the final playoff spot.

          So, all I can say is, good luck to Camden and South Maryland. The surest way for us to get into the playoffs is if we win and the other two 8-7 teams lose. :)

            We head to Yuma to finish season and hope to finish it on a winning note. If we are able to defeat Yuma it could possibly knock them out of playoffs. Pearl Harbor would need to win as well, so I know one team that will be cheering us on to win lol. It will be a tough task but I feel we are capable of pulling off the upset.

              Phantoms travel to Anchorage to take on the Gladiators. Both teams are already looking forward to a busy off-season ahead.

                Can someone explain to me how my Long Snapper can be disgruntled about playing time? He's starting as a LS. There's literally nothing else I can do for him.

                  We still have some bizarre longshot to make the playoffs, but I think it involves everyone else in the wild card race losing and us winning. We're going to throw some youngsters out there to get them some experience instead.

                      We are hoping for the exact opposite of this, heh.

                      This is a big one, it could mean we really have something to build from in Yuma. Britt Buchanan took a while to get going, but since he has gotten out of his early season funk, he has played like he did at the end of last season. I don't know if we just played an exceptionally hard schedule early on or if it was just that the team was out of sync for 8 weeks.

                      This is the biggest game of the year, for certain. Good luck irabowman.

                          It was an interesting finale, but our defense was on fire this week. Just a suffocating performance resulting in our 8th straight win and a playoff berth after starting the season 1-7. Friggin crazy. We get to test our mettle fittingly in the first round of the playoffs against Boston, another cinderella story of a team that recovered from a 1-5 start to make the playoffs. Problems for us: We lost two starting OL in the final game of the season. We'll be hurting bad at that spot and that does not bode well. Our defense is going to have to play an incredible game and Britt Buchanan is going to have to play like a magician behind the piecemeal quintet we'll be running out there.

                          GG ira, we couldn't get touchdowns, but we managed to kick you to death, which sounds much more gruesome. It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win.

                            GG bomber.

                            Well, we did what we needed to do to pull out a victory. Unfortunately, it looks like Boston wins the tiebreaker which, for the wildcard, is conference record.

                            We won 6 of our last 7 to make it an interesting finish, at least. But the one loss in the last 7 was to Boston, and that was the difference maker for us.

                            At least the NC East has two horses in the race, I hope one of you guys takes it down!

                            As for our game, our goal was to try to run the ball and throw a bunch of short stuff, using up the clock and, when we couldn't score, working field position. Unfortunately, we fell behind near the end of the game and needed some big time 4Q Heroics from Sage to make it happen. Now that our season is over, it looks like Sage is finally getting familiar with our offense.

                              Wow, we did it?! What a crazy ride. Our QB gets hurt in the final preseason game and his backup takes over. I'm confident in the backup, who was last seen tearing Brooklyn apart in the playoffs a few years ago, but he opens the season 1-5. Once Axel Erickson returns, the team doesn't really play better (until the end) but he finishes 8-2. We sneak in on tiebreakers.

                              GG Camden. Taking down the Cutters even if that wasn't all starters is never a small feat. And you were right, Irish -- that SMD game was pivotal.
