  • CB / S question

I am planning on playing or switching Mc Gregor to either SS or FS this next season as I am hurting at both spots and he seems better than any draftee or anybody I can get a hold of. Position wise he is 9 on RCB, LCB, SS, & FS however when I look at the switch position height wise he is below avg for both S spots. Weight he is signifnatly below SS and just below FS. So if I switch positions will his bars drop or stay same. Also if I keep him CB and just play him one of the two spots can performance still drop?

Last question I am thinking SS as to where to play him agree or disagree?

    TY for any input.

You can do a dry run. Go in and switch his position. Before the game makes the move it'll tell you what his drop will be. It won't tell you the exact bars, but it'll say something like "This change can be made with the player retaining about X percent of his ratings level." Something to be aware of is that I believe the ratings drop happens at the next sim, so what you initially see when you move him will be misleading.

As for just playing him at safety without officially moving him, I believe that he'd still be playing with the lower ratings at that position. The difference is that there's a cap on how much experience he can gain at safety unless you make him a safety. I'm sure somebody more experienced will come in and verify or nix that.

      RD bar = SS
      ZD + INT = FS
