  • Greta's 2040 Best QBs

    1. Shawn Figures - Y14 - 75/75 (Drafted 1.1) SFO
    2. Heath Morton - Y7 - 73/73 (Drafted 1.28) PXT
    3. Clay Granberry - Y8 - 70/70 (Drafted 1.14) WAS
    4. Logan Fordham - Y5 - 70/70 (Drafted 1.23) STP
    5. Edward Sage - Y13 - 66/66 (Drafted 1.10 by STP) SMD
    6. Norm Dakota - Y7 - 65/65 (Drafted 1.4 by WAC) MOR
    7. O.J. Sheldon - Y14 - 63/63 (Drafted 1.10 by ANC) POR (via trade from BKL)
    8. Axel Erickson - Y5 - 62/69 (Drafted 1.28) BOS
    9. Brian Douglas - Y12 - 62/62 (Drafted 3.13) DAK
    10. Scott Syron - Y12 - 60/60 (Drafted 3.07) UTA

Cool list of the top QBs in the OSFL this season, and where they came from!

Dakota was traded after two seasons in Waco. Sheldon was released by Anchorage one year, hung on in Brooklyn for a while, and is now ending his career in Portland. Sage was finally traded to South Maryland because St. Paul managed to score a second, younger QB also on this list.

Other than that, all other players spent their careers on the same team.

Phenomenal QB drafting by StP. The 5-11 record speaks for the rest of the coaching.

I so wanted to draft Norm Dakota just so he could play for Dakota.

Scott Syron was my backup plan if I couldn't get Brian Douglas, mostly because I didn't scout Syron but scouted Douglas. I think I was worried about possible sole/intelligence issues with Syron but I don't specifically recall.

I drafted a piece of garbage WR in the 2nd round that year and was lucky the QBs were still around.

I figure I should use Figures much more this season.
