  • Actual Week 6 Games

GG Sirem We got a win but at a high cost we traded for FB Looker who was in his 10th year he went down with injury MCL Knee Surgery and is looking at 31 weeks till he can return. I am figuring this is a career ending injury he will probably be looking to go to the WWE now.

Britt Buchanan comes off the bench to start his first game of the year and we pull out a win in a game where we didn't throw the ball enough to satisfy me, but we threw it enough to win the game. The key was the defense in the second half, they were just suffocating for the most part, forcing losses and sacks and interceptions and really helping to close out a hard fought win. I'm hoping this is a sign of life rather than a fluke win. Buchanan will get another chance next week against Frisco.

GG, King Kosar! That was a close game; both our QBs had a field day on each other's secondaries. Thank you so much for doing the simming over the break. I'm very grateful.

HTML should be up to date now.

My team is a joke this year. Weird since it's pretty talented. I did put a couple youngsters in but it shouldn't be this bad. I guess I forgot how 2 football.

After going down 13-0 in the 1st half, the Bombers storm back scoring on 4 of their final 5 drives for a 24-21 win, led by backup former Mizzou star quarterback, Alec Huntley.

Huntley came in for the injured Clay Granberry, to go 15/18 with 162 yards and 2 TD's in the second half. I'm sure it didn't hurt that Roderick Pearson (RB) put in a dominant performance on the ground with 27 carries for 169 yards and 1 TD, although he only had 22 yards in the 1st half.

We'll have to see if we can get through the next couple of games without Granberry at the helm. If this week is any indication, we should be ok.

GG Julio, sad as i was wishing to see Recker on the field to face me. I feel like we should have won that one but we really shot ourselves on the foot on offense, turning the ball way too often and at bad spots on the field. Still defense played great

We got the win but it came as a cost with injuries. We now have 5 starters injured including QB Luther Lyon. Lyon entered the game having thrown for 1827 yards in the first 5 games of the season. With an average of over 365 yards per game he was on pace for over 5800 passing yards this year. This number would have surpassed the all-time OSFL single-season mark of 5536 which was set by San Francisco's Shawn Figures in 2034. I was really trying to break the record this year as it will most likely be Lyon's last season in Waco.
