Thanks, bomber! BKL stormed back at the end, but came up short. I'm kind of taken aback by the kind of season Axel Erickson is having. He transformed this season. Hopefully Hooper can take us down.

Adding insult to injury was this play from all time BKL rushing leader Broderick Carter:

Boston: Single-Back formation with trips receivers, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 and 3-deep zone coverage, keying aggressively on the run.
3-5-BKL48 (4Q: 02:02) Broderick Carter ran around the left tackle for 18 yards. Tackled by ILB Jackie McInturff, assisted by ILB Leroy Darquea. Key block delivered by Kaleb McSheffrey.

That killed the comeback! I actually watched the whole game... Freaking Broderick Carter!

Thanks for the fun season Aston...

NP, bomber. Carter was a midseason add, too!

It's funny. McSheffrey, our starting center for this game, is a developing guard who hasn't been good enough to crack the 2-deep at OG. Not too shabby in a pinch, though!

North liberty was way too much for us on the ground.

                    Congrats Boston

Axel Erickson got tops in the record books in this game for QB Rating (158.3 - 19 Yr old record) and Pass Completion % (91.7% - 20 Yr old record).

For a league as old as this one. Record breaking performances are hard to come by.

Wow, that's neat! Erickson had several years of struggles but really came on as he finished developing (finally). This is his 3rd 150+ QBR game of this season, and he had one late last season too.

                          GG, sir.

We lost pretty much every statistical category there was, but somehow the boys pulled it out (TWSS). Despite giving up all of those yards through the air, we did do a darn good job of making sure the running game stayed in check.

Now off to Waco, who we somehow beat in Washington. However, I doubt we get the same result in Texas as I expect Rob to be better prepared in Round 2.
