I have made couple trades with Bomber and he may have came out ahead but I felt I got very fair value out of the trade. I can think of two trades I have made that I think came up short on with other players. One of those players I should of never traded but did not understand that I could redo other players contracts that might of freed up some cash might not of. I am learning though, and most importantly having fun doing so.

We been pretty good IRA.. its been fair.. i felt you got a better deal on some of our trades and i got better deal on some of other ones.. but its been fun.

haha I know that feeling! I'm sure I'm on at least a couple guys no-trade lists and a couple are on mine but I'm cool with most people.

Aston used to be reviled here for his trades (Or maybe it was all really tongue in cheek and I'm autism-spectrum) but I found him to be the best trade partner I've ever had in FOF. We've both agreed on fair prices right away and as far as I know we both came out happy each time.

Oh, it is/was all fair game. It's tough to stop a talent juggernaut with nigh-infinite draft ammunition that knew how to draft, and that was what we were. I also tried really hard, which was definitely a little too effective.

These days are better, I hope!

Finally, macro... don't bother to try to trade with me if that's your tactic. If I'm looking to get offers, I'll only work with an offer that is reasonable. Lowball offers get no counters, and usually increase my initial value of the trade...

You will never get a lowball offer from me, but you will get an offer that is just below fair and will be slightly slanted in my favor, because most of the time someone throws something out on trade block but gives no indication of want, value or anything. If you specify wants / needs in the trade block, it will be a fair offer of course, slightly slanted in my favor.

From there, we negotiate until it is fair and equatable for everyone. In fact, I have given up more than I should for players in the past because they fit my system better than anything else (My run in the CFL left several people scratching heads at my trades).

But I kept reloading and winning...in fact I think I walked away with almost $1000 in the pot. I bought my new desktop from the winnings.

They give away the cash in that league. You don't have to pay anything. It is run by a guy who has too much money on his hands.

Yeah they're a very atypical league in that they have a money pot. I've had a really good team there over the years and won some, but I don't think it's ever amounted to close to what Macro got. The winnings are supposed to be geared towards teams that win without talent, and that's not really us ... But that's OK :-P
