We won in a great game against Pearl Harbor Defenders. QB Singleton finally gets his first shot to start for the Bayhawks and he did not disappoint. He threw the game winning TD with 10 seconds left to give us a 1 pt victory.

Was really pleased with our fast start and how our offense was looking but our defense was horrible today and the pick and fumble from Sheldon proved crucial. With Rogers waiting in the wings, Sheldon is on a short leash this season.

I'm really surprised we won. We gave up over 450 yards of offense. Our defense continues to be the weak spot that I have no idea how to gameplan for. Just don't know what to do there. But if our offense can outscore other teams, that's just what we need. Somehow we managed to create 3 turnovers, which was the difference in the game.

Funny thing, this is the first time I've seen an offensive linemen get star of the game. Rex Gibson, good work!

Yeh I was surprised Gibson got the player of the game with all that offense out there. If you can improve your defensive talent, you will be ready to compete. You have all the offensive weapons there

Some growing pains are part of a rookie QB, and it looks like you are going through that now. If I told you your QB threw for 399 yards, you'd think he had a good game. But he didn't. That, and your kicker missing 2 FGs was the difference in the game.

On our side, happy to see Singleton for for so many yards. Also, even though Mallory got hurt early in the game, free agent Kai Boone had a pretty good day. Overall, happy with our team's performance.

Close game; the Camden defense did pretty well in limiting us, I think -- outside of rookie undrafted RB Herb Creel, who had a solid ten carries to go with a 92-yard TD catch and run. It seemed like a pretty even back-and-forth.

On the front office side, we burned through half of our $20M available today in a number of extensions that I hope will be worthwhile. They were minor extensions bringing a few starter or borderline quality players up from rookie deals to the $3-4M range. Hopefully that still leaves us enough room for our major extensions, plus any other signings this year.

On top of that, we signed the best FA QB to come on the market for a time, which was important given how far back our own QB2 situation has dwindled. This Clements guy didn't come cheap, though -- he's about a $4.5M insurance policy.

That was a nice 93 yard INT for a TD. I thought we were cooked then. I was shocked I was able to pull the win out.

This game went better than I had hoped. I had expected to win, as Port City is in the middle of a rebuild, so the measure for me was how we won. We were able to put the game away early, and we had starters resting as early as the middle of the third quarter. In the past we had a tendency to play to our competition, and we'd win the games that we were supposed to but they'd always be close. It was nice to see our guys go out there and take care of business like I think that they should be able to.

Don't sleep on Port City. They have a ton of young talent, and if they're able to keep them all together they're going to be dangerous in the very near future. I was worried about their passing game, and if it weren't for Cannida coming up huge with 3 INTs I don't think that this game would have gone down the way it did. Luckily for us, Conner picked right up where he left off last year and continues to be the star of this team.

We had a tough start be we came back big, our defense forcing mistakes so many times. I am always scared of Charlotte, i feel every year we have a better team but they seem to have our number.

GG Juilo, I expected we would lose this as well as many others this season. It was a low scoring game and we had to my surprise a decent run game though with some big runs from Jackson. Defensively I felt we have a team that can hold offenses to low scores it is just with no QB right now we can't score hardly at all. Hopefully this next off season we will be able to find a decent QB either FA or draft.

It was a tight one most of the way, neither team really looked too great though. I don't think I can read anything into what happened this week.

Great Game IG.. the growing pain is in the GP more then then QB.. #bORNrEADy started the game playing great. When we felt behind we went to all passing into a familiar D. There is some adjustment with a new QB as always.. we'll be back! see you later this season. We'll be more ready for you guys.
