Good luck the rest of the way to Portland. You've really got that team heading in the right direction. Maybe we'll see each other come playoff time.

Starting a rookie QB on the road against the division leader should amount to a loss, but Britt Raines led a 4th quarter comeback with 2 TDs thrown and a FG to finish things off.

Don't have any expectation that he'll keep that up, and that might be our only win of the season, but we'll take it.

Memphis has crashed back to earth in a big way. After forcing nine turnovers in the first two weeks we have not forced a single turnover in our last three games. Over that span we have also fumbled two kick returns that got returned for touchdowns and given up a kick return for a touchdown to an opponent.

I understand that there are ups and downs with every team. I just can't wrap my head around the wild swings the Showboats go through every year. Last year we had a six game winning streak (including victories over three teams that would go on to make the playoffs) followed by a three game losing streak (including losses to a team that went 5-11 and another that went 6-10) with no major injuries. It's hard to fathom.

None of this is to take anything away from Portland in any way. They played a good game. We simply did not have an answer for O.J. Sheldon. Every time it looked like one of their drives had stalled he'd toss a 20 or 30 yard strike that would keep them rolling. Sorry about Melvin Bryant. I always hate to see a guy rolling along and then go out like that.

We'll just have to button down the hatches and weather this latest streak. Hopefully we can pull out of it before there's any lasting damage.

Good luck the rest of the way to Portland. You've really got that team heading in the right direction. Maybe we'll see each other come playoff time.
gg Scortch and hard luck. It was tough to watch after going 17-0 up. Mandel completed less than 50% but threw for over 300 yards! You really shut down our run game but old man Sheldon had one of his better days.

Good luck to you too. Thanks for the nice words, hopefully we are moving in the right direction

Even at 4-1 we've never recovered from the injury bug. Lost our stud OLB for the rest of the year with a torn ACL. Two DL out, another LB out, a CB out...we're gonna get REXd because I can't overcome the 5 export warnings.

Deshonee Harden came out and played very effectively, thankfully he did that because the run game was stationary. Undrafted rookie LB Hayden Riley came up with his second pick six of the year. Our run game is going to be hit or miss all year it seems, and I am shifting the blame from lack of RB talent to lack of line talent and cohesion. We'll probably be better by the end of the season, but that's going to be our achilles heel this year.

It's nice to be sitting at 4-1 though, things are moving along decently so far.

GG, ira. You got our QB for three picks, but it was a commanding show from the Boston defense, too. Alright, take the helm, King! :)
