Teams have 48% conversion rate against us on 3rd down. That's right. I just said 48% conversion rate. That's f'n pitiful.

Oh yea we lost again by 3 points.

Bright side: Our division is struggling mightily so at 5-6, we are tied for 1st place.

Dakota had a nice 29-7 win over Anchorage in week 12, but despite the fact that Camden (our opponent in week 13) is 4-7 I look at them as our biggest challenge this season. I suspect their record isn't so indicative of how good the team and owner is. (Maybe I'm biased because they've been a tough opponent for us on a number of occasions!) This could put one in the "L" column for us.

We're better than I expected at 8-3 but our schedule has been relatively soft, despite what the power rankings might say. This team reminds me of my 2022 championship team but better on offense and weaker in the secondary. We'll see how things turn out but this has been a nice change from four years of mediocrity and might be the last chance for Douglas to play in a second bowl game as a starter.

At least this year I'm guaranteed I won't have to play against Aston in a bowl game, but having BOS, BKL and several others in this conference isn't making it easy on any NC teams. I'm glad I'm not in the NC East, which is probably the toughest division in the league.

With a 3 game lead for 1st in the conference, I might even be able to afford to rest my injured QB.

The streaks continue in Memphis. We had our three game win streak, then our four game losing streak, now we're on a four game win streak. As long as we don't start on another slide we look pretty good to make a playoff run this year.

Our toughest remaining game could very well be this week at Ohio. If we can get a W this week, I'll feel a lot better about our chances.
