Is it me or is this draft just a little thin on talent? I mean there are a couple of impact players, but overall it just seems weak. Or maybe there is no talent where I have a need, which is probably more likely.

You arent the only one. Last year we had a bunch of impact players. Richardson, Allen, McWilliams, Hartman, the DB on Denver etc. This year only two players stand out to me and one of the is too short for his position. I'm considering moving up but if I cant guarantee that I will get one of those two, I'll stay at 21 or trade out of the first.

This is definitely a weaker draft than last season's. The top 10 or so was stacked last season.

Oh well, I'm hoping the person I want is there at 1.13.

Yeah it's thin. And at 2 I have to take best available over need.

Anyone have a nice draft board template they want to share. Was gonna throw something together on excel but I've been playing madden all day.

How long do you have to select your pick?

                  Quick Announcement:

We have a slight issue with the Pearl Harbor franchise. On the 10th, nflchampion posted that he was having issues w/ his computer and hope to get them fixed soon. He hasnt been on the board since the 10th and didnt respond to an email I sent him. He also hasnt submitted a sim this entire offseason. I'm hesitant to immediately remove him as owner of Pearl Harbor because of his CPU issues and him being an active owner when he was up and running. With that said I'm not sure he even has CPU access and is aware of the draft. Because of this, I've decided to put together a draft committee whose sole responsibility will be to pick for the Pearl Harbor franchise. It will be a 3 member committee and the majority will decide what pick is made. Andrew has agreed to be the first member of the committee and I will be the second. We need one more member so if anyone is interested please PM me.

If nflchampion responds before his pick, ownership of the franchise will revert back to him. If I dont hear from him before the next sim, I will offer the team to someone on the waiting list.

Also the draft clock doesn't run between midnight and 8 am ET. Picks can still be made during this time, but it doesn't count against people who are on the clock.

Good pick. Was really the only option. He looks like as much of a can't miss as you can get. I hope he's the next Ryan Leaf.

San Francisco has only 1 player worth a paycheck. Whalen is now the cornerstone for this neglected franchise.

Rico "Suave" Whalen? Isn't he too sexy for your team?

Chicago must be working the phones though, I really don't think there's anyone worth trading up to the 2nd pick.
