    Week 1

    We open the season with a home game against div foe St. Paul. Offensively I expect a downturn in production overall and for QB Kaden Benson after trading WR Willmer and untill Sonntag gets up to speed. Defensively I expect us to be bad, very bad and i don't see us making the playoffs or finishing in the number one or two spot in the division this season.Prediction at best 8-8 for the reapers this year.

    We will be terrible. Terrible. I truly think we're aimed at 1.1 but I kind of hope not just because of the salary implications.

    Anyway, we don't have a decent QB on the roster, so we're doomed.

      We kick off against garion's Stags. After winning the division last year, I'm not sure we are as strong this season, especially after losing RB Bryant. Washington will be there or thereabouts again

        The Brian Douglas era is over and I'll be trying to scrape by with retreads like Christian Drake and J.C. Hartman until someone trades me a Ciszek.

        This team is actually not looking so bad other than a couple positions and we make a couple decent acquisitions/picks in the next year and we might be playoff bound again.

          A New Season

          Excited to see where this season takes us. Filled in a lot of holes during the off season with trades and the FA pool.

          First test is a big one against a deeply talented Denver team. I hope that I put in a good fight with him for the division this season. Just came up short as he took both of our divisional games last season, but with 4 new legitimate starters on my roster, will things be different? Anticipating some ESPN classic type battles with you this year chuck.

            Looking forward to getting my first season as the Morgantown Marauders GM under way (I know many would prefer "under water", as the Mermen). Looking over the roster, I think we can be competitive, though a playoff berth is unlikely.

            We traded away a couple of fan favorites and key cogs in the offseason to start putting our own stamp on the roster. The replacements at those positions are certainly not upgrades, but hopefully we can uncover some gems with the picks received for next season. We also acquired CB Carlton Jaffe in one of those trades, and were pleasantly surprised when he looked even better than advertised.

            Morgantown is also switching to a 4-3 Defensive scheme, which made superstar OLB Andre Osborn expendable in the first place. With bookend pass rushers Bob Miller and Jeff Wojdylo up front, we should still be able to get plenty of heat on the opposing QB's.

            I anticipate we'll be stronger defensively than offensively due to a lack of talent at WR, but you never know with a QB like Norm Dakota. He's got the talent to make others around him look better than they are. Still, we had a big blow in the last pre-season game, as star center Leon Luckett was lost for the season. Still not sure what he was even doing out there, but thems the breaks.

              We gave up some yardage but kept you guys at arms length for the most part. When we did have the ball, we were really quite ruthless. I'm sure you will have the stags up and running in no time. Good luck rest of the year

                  Kennedy Owen was sharp in his Yuma debut and the defense got us a few turnovers even though they didn't really play their best. We put on an offensive show in the first half though, enough to pull away and win with a solid second half. It was one of our better offensive performances in recent years, something we definitely hope to continue. This team feels like a strong one, one that has a chance to make a late season run.

                  GG Pearl Harbor, Gaddy was slinging it pretty good this week, but he made a couple big mistakes and we were able to take advantage.

                    GG Rando. Crazy Game. CAM 37 BKL 36. Couldnt contain your running game. Difference was 2 missed extra points. Going to be long season in BKL

                      Not as close as I hoped it would be, but lots of good things came out of it.

                      The right guys got the ball. Finally the top WRs on my roster got the most targets and yards. Usually some bum gets passed to because my main guys are being covered so well. Kennedy Flickinger with 12 Tackles! OH man. That signing already working out.

                      Losing to a great team like Denver doesn't hurt that bad as they are awesome. Next time we'll be better though.

                        I knew it'd be bad, but outside of the score it wasn't too bad. Your pass rusher deserved player of the game while our pass rush was nonexistent. That can't happen as I'm relying on that pass rush.

                        Oh well, we'll get better as the season goes on even though we're f-ed at QB.

                          Looked like Lindsay was going to run all over us for a while. Turnovers in bad spots killed your chances. See you down the road this season.
