Found out some former Spikes were going to be in town today. DT Ezra Long looked strong with 5 tackles against his former team. He would not resign after being released. Past injustices? 9 mill for a 40 rated player with low bars?

Kirk Dotson also became to expensive but was unable to hurt us with any FG pts.

No doubt due to the improved D of the Spikes.

Syron happy he was not sacked in a game for the first time in years. He was able to spread the ball around, even to the opposition twice. The Spikes however had 3 picks including one by the legend Buddy Hodges in the end zone to prevent a last second TD and a loss to this talented Charlotte squad.

gg, we know what adjustments need to be made for next time.

Our defense went from allowing under 300 total yards in week 1 to allowing over 600 yards week 2. Ugh. I sure hope we get Pritchett back soon.

Wow, that game had it all for us. Own fumble recovered for a touchdown. 2 pick sixes. 4 injured players. First and goal from the 1 twice and held out of the end zone both times.

We still won 47-18, but we were out gained 346-303. I guess that goes to show how much turnovers helped us this week.

Now if we do this the rest of the season, we'll break all kinds of records. I don't think we can hope for that though, so hopefully we can win without forcing turnovers in bunches too. I guess we will find out eventually.

ILB William Neale making an early run for DROY with 3 passes defensed, 2 interceptions, a TD and a fumble forced in his first couple games. Like what we are seeing from him for sure.

GG Motor City. Didn't expect that kind of game to break out, but that was a wild one. Enough goofs and gaffes to fill a blooper reel.

GG, Anchorage. We really had it going today. A promising show from our rookie TE, in particular.

Good to see our former QB, Kayden Esquivel! Drafted just before I took over in Boston. He didn't end up so bad.

Pretty shocked to beat Denver. GG.

1.01 pick Butkiewicz delivered his first win and first 4th quarter comeback. His winning drive dripped with good fortune -- a CLB fumble recovered by CLB, and two 4th down throws made to advance the drive. The final dagger was a 15 yard pass for the winning score. Maybe he is the real deal.

The Morgantown defense is allowing 1.5 points a game after defeating Los Alamos 26-0. Pretty impressive, as my top tacklers for the week were OLB Gabe Schulz and DT Zachary Roiger, both rookies.

Given a 16 game season, that extrapolates to 24 points allowed on the season. I'm thinking we'll probably allow at least 30. Hell, with Boston coming to town next, this bubble could pop pretty quickly, but the first two games have been fun.

After our first drive your defense did a great job at keeping us away from the endzone. Fortunately for us our defense was stepping in front off errant Morton passes left and right.

                          FTFY. gg indeed. ;)

Really thought Morton would bring more of a spark to the passing game. Been really bad so far.
