Nicely done, garion! Kalispel drops Boston for its third loss of the season, and Camden appears to have overtaken us for the division lead a week after overtaking Brooklyn. Boston faces off with Brooklyn now, as the NC playoff picture heats up.

Burt O'Neill broke the Dakota single-game passing yardage record held by Cary Battle with 416 yards, but it is hard to win when you turn over the ball 4 times. :)

We started so well but ended so poor,
We went into the game without our star RB Reid and stud ILB "Razz" among other key players with minor injuries.

Believing we would still be strong enough to hold off The Sentinels,
We then left the field after adding our star Safety Lang, #1 TE Compton, kick returner "Mmmbop" and 2 key OLBs (1st rounder WLB Mitchell and seasoned WLB Greiner).

On paper we still have a chance at the playoffs but I feel our year maybe over already if we can't even manage to take a W at home from a 1-11 team plus the constant struggle with fitness.

Well we had a game of short fields against Punxsutawney.. Seemed like every turnover that happened in the game resulted in an easy score for both teams, and despite a great performance by Cam Recker, our pass rush was vicious to begin and end the game. 11 sacks is enough to win most games I would wager.

Not to be outdone, the offense was led expertly by Dean Holmes, who does better the fewer plays we need. Seems like our team tends to hit a wall around play 60 or so. We didn't hit that number this week. TE Charlie Sagapolutele put in a nice audition for RB late when he broke a long touchdown run to close the scoring. If we suffer any significant injuries there I will have to figure out a way to get the ball in his hands, heh.

We were very lucky to steal a win in Dakota. Our defense couldn't stop anything in the air and you threw on us all game. I would have given game MVP to CB Joel Wooden who had two INTs for us.

Next up for Waco is a big divisional matchup as we host Port City's arial attack.
