gg, bomber. It's good to get one on Brooklyn, always. You guys played some tough defense today, and Dusty Mathis got healthy just in time to be pressed into immediate service at guard, I think. We're going to miss Gene Duran, though possibly not for the entire season. Not sure. 7 weeks? Ehhhhh. It'd be cutting it close, and he'd have to play hobbled in the playoffs. He's close to landing on IR.

We still have dates with 8-6 Washington and 8-6 Huntsville, so this is a seriously exciting and high-stakes finish to the regular season. We're at 11-3 now, but I think three teams are still in it for the division. And this might be a year where one 11-5 NC team is going to have to miss the playoffs. The NC North also has no team below .571 currently.

A nice performance from O'Neill and we are miraculously still alive. We're going to have to beat Port City and NLB to stand a chance to make the playoffs, though, and that's a tall order.

The Golden Spikes clinch their division with a victory over the Phoenix Riders. Decided to rest some of the weary starters for this one. Nelson, the backup hopefully got the start, but he sure put in all the work. 157 Pass Rating, 3 TDs. This guy wants to stay on the Spikes.

Hopefully can end up with home advantage and a 1st round bye and legitimize this season with a Week 17 victory over Denver (a super talented team).

GG Aston. We played well but couldnt overcome 3 Turnovers and 3 oline starters being out. Also dumb GM mistake of leaving a bad kick holder as the kick holder. We are 9-5 but might miss the playoff. Bunting missing 3 games and being in this division really hurt us this year.

Looks like we've wrapped up the division with a three game lead over Gainesville with two to play, even though we've only won 8 games. Our last two games are against teams with a combined three wins, so I'm hoping we can at least do a respectable 10-6 going into the playoffs.

Todays win wasn't easy, as Norm Dakota threw an uncharacteristic three picks in keeping the game uncomfortably close. I do hope THAT'S out of his system!

Crazy how deep the NC is this year.. Tough for those 8-6 teams to be looking up from the bottom of their divisions when they would be leading other divisions. The narrative must be shitty for their fake fans to deal with on fake reddit.

Our pass rush has found itself the past couple weeks, as we have racked up 20 sacks in those 2 games and really exploded. That isn't the only reason for our success recently, but it would be hard to contend that anything else has had the same impact. Our offense needs to get better at sustaining things as games wear on, but they were strong in the first half. Hopefully we can reel off the last 3 and find ourselves with a week to think about things before the big dance begins.
