I'm disappointed in my draft. My punter is a straight up BUST. I didn't scout him but his predraft blue ratings were near the top. He's a BUST! 0-16 for Port City this year. My team sucks.

I have 54 players and when I go to export it say I need to get under 46 players or the cpu will make cuts for me. I thought we just needed to be under 60. Do we need to get to 46 before this sim?

        46 active players.

You'll need 8 inactive players to export.

And you do this by right-clicking on the player you want to put on the inactive list in case you were wondering.

Can't wait to get to the games! Too bad I don't play in the first week of preseason.

Me either. I had one dude, a 6th round pick, go up 10 points current and 23 points in future. I'm so happy about that pick. Oh yea, all three of those scrubs that tried to hold out, signed for what i offered them the first time. Also, out of no where, my veteran TE, "boomed" gaining 10 points over last year. Amazing. I'm really liking this game.

For the pre-season do you the starters play the whole game? do you have to specify somewhere how much they will play? I don't want to have tons of injuries to my starters before the real games start.

You can adjust your starters' playing time.

I tried some new strategies this draft, and I think I've had a revelation. Guys that I think I've hit fairly big on:

Carl Zeiders who is plus 4 in future post training camp.

Vince Godfrey (for a late pick he'll be a contributor) plus 2 in future.

Eugene Ellison plus 5 in future post training camp.

Deion Dillon is plus 4 in future post training camp.

A few other modest gain guys as well. Rusty Faulkner looks like he'll be a solid back that will take over the starter's job at some point this season.

click on "recommend" by playing time and the computer will set it for you. I usually go with what the cpu says as far as PT goes.
