  • MIDWEEK WEEK 2 SIM COMPLETE- NEXT SIM SUNDAY

The midweek sim is complete. The Portland/ MC Trade has been processed and we are ready to go for Sunday's week 2 sim.

A couple of notes about last weeks games and this weeks game:

    - Game of the week: Memphis (-4) at St. Paul - I have to say I'm surprised by the line. The Bandits are coming off an impressive on the road against Dakota. Galloway threw for 3 TDs Hugh Adams had half a sack and 3 hurries in his St. Paul debut. Memphis had a usual Memphis game. RB Kenyon Heflin had 2 Tds and QB Dusty Cowell had a QB rating over 100. Head to head it appears that Memphis has more talent but I'm still surprised to see the Champs as home underdogs. This could be another instance of people thinking the Bandits championship season was a fluke. I dont agree with that so I'm taking St Paul and the points.

-Camden (-8) at Kalispel- Camden struggled but found a way to win last week against Boston QB Martin Cothran threw 3 picks and except for Cothran's scrambles the running game was non existent. It took a big Louie Green interception to beat a young Boston team. Kalispel, on the other hand, looked great last week. Dan Shaw (299 passing yds 2 TD) had a player of the week caliber performance that was overshadowed by great performances by higher profile QBs. With that said I think the Camden offense will bounce back this week and lead them to a win but I think Kalispel will cover.

    - Waco at Chicago (-8) Chicago's QB Desmond Kaplan had a chip on his shoulder. As the 9th pick in the 2007 he was received considerably less attention than the top two picks in the draft QB's Myron Allen and Jamie Scoggins. So when facing Allen's Enforcers, he was determined to outperform Allen and bring a win home for the Chicago faithful. Kaplan got great support from the running game (Mims 106 yd) and the defense (3 ints). Waco had a tough loss last week against New Orleans. While the defense did a great job containing the high powered NO offense, the offensive play calling was questionable. Skip Alig only touched the ball 14 times and they need more touches from him to be successful. I think Waco will try test the Chicago defensive line and try to win it on the ground. I'm taking Waco and the points.

Skydog, I'm going to try to implement your week preview suggestion next week. I need to talk to Andrew about how to set it up.

Post you smack talk and predictions below.

I'm nervous for this game against Boston. I'm just not quite sure what I'm facing here. Hopefully we make the rookie Cote feel uncomfortable all game long with our pass rush.

Make sure you have the correct password xxxxxx. If you do and it still wont work just send the file to aaronholbert@yahoo.com and I'll import it manually.

EDIT BY ANDREW - I took out the password. This is a public forum and the password should be kept private. People could use it to upload malicious code. You can post it in the owners forum, which can only be seen by OSFL owners.

There's not much that needs to happen here.

                  1. Raise/eliminate the minimum number of characters in a post in the Admin Control Panel. (Control Panel-->vBulletin Options-->Message Posting and Editing Options-->Maximum Characters Per Post). At FOFC, I just put a zero in there for that option, which I'd recommend here.
                  2. Get FTP info to upload the in-game HTML.
                  3. Just copy and paste it, like this...

So, in a given week, you'd just copy and paste, like this...

Oh, and you do have to hand-enter the point spread, but that's a very quick process.
