    FRANCHISE/SUMMER LEAGUE/TICKET PRICES SIM COMPLETE - FA HAS BEGUN! NEXT SIM THURSDAY

    The Franchise/Summer League/Ticket Price sim is complete. The next stage is FA Stage 1. The new draft class is now available and the draft utility will be available in the next few days. Next sim is Thursday at 9.

    REMINDER: IF YOU HAVENT UPGRADED TO VERSION 6.1A, PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY

    Major Transactions:

    Anchorage designated WR Randal Dotson as its Franchise player. Dotson will receive nearly 6 million next season because of the designation even though he hasnt had a 1000 yd season. It will be interesting to see how this will effect the asking price of two of the star potential FAs, WR Kent Hutton and Leland Lilledahl.

            Nice to see my 3rd year QB Desmond Kaplan had a little 4 point jump in POT and 3 point Current rating in this last sim. Wasn't expecting that.

                    If he is as good as his initial indications show, he will be the greatest QB in the history of history. He'll be Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Michael Vick and Brett Favre all wrapped up into one. It sucks. I hate it. I hate that we will have to play him twice each year. Shit! Gonna have to bolster that Bandit secondary.

                      My scout says he's over rated. By how much? Who knows. I'm glad he's in our division. Makes the third top 10 QB picked in the last 3 years. We could have some real good battles over the next 10 years.

                        Of course he's overrated. They have him rated as a combination Vince Young, Tom Brady and Joe Montana. He cant be that good, can he? :-)

                        One thing that the first three years has shown is QB play is extremely important when it comes to making it to the championship game. 4 of the 5 QB's who played in the past OSFL Bowls are top 5 QBs imo. I look forward to seeing how Whalen, Allen and now Parrish develop.

                            Don't sleep on Kaplan. He's been creeping, and his on the field performances are solid for a guy entering his 3rd year.
