  • 2009 Week 7: Who Really Cares?

    1. What a Stud: Denver's offensive guard, Will Saban is the only offensive player to make the All-OSFL Team every year.

    2. What, Another Stud?: Memphis' defensive end, Brian Roset is the only defensive player to make the All-OSFL team every year.

    3. Look Left:
Gainsville has 128 rushes for 473 yards. A whopping 8 of those rushes are to the right for 1.75 yards/carry.

    4. Stingy D: (4-1) Denver opponents are averaging just 9.8 points/game. They'll let you get a touchdown and think about allowing a field goal.

Hah, I didn't even think about that my team goes for it and fails on fourth down often..

Um, prez? I think you got this one backwards. From the drive charts in the box scores, it looks like its Morgantown's opponents that have had the ball go over on downs 13 times.

Which I guess would leave Brooklyn as the league leader in 4th down attempts. Converting 5 of 13. Which is actually a higher percent than thier 3rd down conversions.

Nice for my team to be featured twice this week.

          Great work as usual.

You are right. I was looking at opponents misc stats. Sorry about that. I knew I was going to make a mistake or two eventually.

8 of 128 rushes have been to the right? Wow. Time to mix it up.

My team's been asking themselves that question for the last year. Our record indicates the answer.
