  • Question - Gameplans

    Trying to figure out :

In the last few sims I have been changing my gameplans, saving them, and then exporting the stage files. When we get the new stage file back though, my gameplans do not automatically show, I have to load them again. My depth charts are remembered but not my gameplans.

Is it like this for everyone ? Or am I missing something ?

    Thanks.

I don't think gameplans are saved from week to week.

I believe you have to go to global options and turn off the option of the gameplan/depth chart being reset after every game.

Yep... elprez has got it right.

You can save it through global options.

Well, he has it close to right. It's not turning off the reset feature. It's turning ON the "Save Game Plan and Depth Charge Progress On Export" feature.

Mine has always been on yes and I still don't get it to carry over.

No, just one. I'll pay extra close attention this time around but after each download I always have to reload it. I actually don't think I've ever set this option to yes, but when I went to check it just now it was already there, surprisingly.

That's odd. I've never had that problem.

Although, as long as you have it saved... it shouldn't take more than 5 seconds or so to re-load it up.

Right, and having to reload it kind of forces me to check the team I'm playing and make tweaks rather than just leaving whatever was loaded from last week. Which probably hurts me since I cant gameplan, but oh well...

Thanks , I'll play with those options.

Yeah it's not difficult to reload them everytime, but I was wondering whether the gameplans were actually being used or not, if they weren't automatically there.

But sounds like some of you always reload them and it works that way.

Check in your league files folder. See if there is a .fnc file. I think this is title. It is a commish need only file.

EDIT: just delete this file and your gameplan will be saved
