    Kalispel 33, Portland 14

    The Good
-Running game was pretty solid. Craig Price 12-48, Donnie Hadavi 7-34.
-Punting game. 6 punts. 3 in 20. 45.2 avg. 43.5 net. (last year those numbers were like 40/35 every game)
-Pass blocking. Despite 36 dropbacks, only one sack.
-Two interceptions out of 21 throws. Not bad.
-Sammy Slade. He always shows up.
    -No injuries!

    The Bad
    -Where to start...
    -Run defense: 189 rushing yards.
-Overall defense: Team was down 17-0 before the game started.
    -Penalties: 10/75. Awful.

    The Ugly
The passing game was awful. Henry Andrews was 7-20, with three interceptions. Backup Kenny Gaylor was 9/16 with 1 TD, and 2 picks. Awful.

Good game Tom. See you again later this season. Sorry about the injuries. :)

Feels good to start the season off with a win after such a terrible campaign last year.
GG Punx. My defense had to step it up since my O decided to drop it on the turf 4 times. Your guys were stripping machines.

I knew I signed Pauley for a reason. Bailey would have choked. Bech came up huge too, pinning Motor City inside its own twenty on five of his seven punts.

Good win over a tough divisional rival. We managed to keep Clements mostly in check.

Yuma smacked us around like a little child.

Great gameplan from the Aces... we came out looking for the run and they came out with six straight passes!

          Offense didn't look much better.

Camden starts the season with a sound, 23-10 victory on the road over a divisional opponent. We're still tweaking the offense, but Martin Cothran did what he had to do by playing a solid, responsible game and Cedric Pint actually demonstrated an ability to grind out yards protecting a lead at the end of a game.

Yes, we were fortunate to fall on all six of the fumbles in this game, but we'll take it. Career OSFL scoring leader James Moreno knocked down all three of his FG attempts, and standout safety Louie Green was up to his old tricks leading the team in tackles.

Bad, bad. AI. No way my team should have been throwing the ball from our own 8 tied under a minute. Run the ball... make them use time outs... punt when necessary.

Close game... as I expected... the banged up line just couldn't protect Jiz.

After getting dominated by Portland last year it was nice to go to the Rose City and lay the smack down. We now come home for 4 straight games. To early to tell but maybe the Stags have finally turned the corner. Only time will tell. Also third string QB Eddie Strickland is angry again this season. He had high hopes 2 years ago when he stepped in and finished 5-4 in the final nine weeks of the season replacing Dan Shaw. Now the Stags have added Nikolaus and Barrett leaving no room for Strickland.

                  WOW!

Clarence Worley hits a 57 yard FG with 1:24 left to give the Reapers a completely undeserved 18-17 shocking win! We were DOMINATED. Kaplan had his worse game as a pro.

This game was gift wrapped. A few plays earlier on 4th and ten....

(4Q: 02:07) Desmond Kaplan pass completed to WR Geoff Alston for 7 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by CB Kurt Howard. The ball goes over on downs. PENALTY: St. Paul was called for Illegal Use of the Hands by the Defense.
Then the 57yd miracle. Worley was 4/5 FG's this game. Rookie power runner Roosevelt Dolinko played well, and Julio Durham was solid in the middle.

Other than that we should've lost by 17 points....but we'll take it.

We played some inspired football this week with Jumbo Clements still resting a knee injury.. With the way rookie QB Chuck Wagner performed, we will give Clements one more week to get healthy.

We played well in every facet of the game, which is an encouraging way to start our title defense.

                    GG Linty.

Pretty solid season and division opener for the Totems, beating North Liberty 31-6. The score is a little misleading due to the fact that we forced 5 turnovers, many of which came on our side of the field.

What a win for Waco. We got out to a commanding 28-0 lead but then we could do nothing offensively and could not stop Memphis and ended up wining 31-24. We decided to start Arsenault and he had a great game with 3tds and 0 interceptions. Veteran RB Alig rushed for 193 yards from 24 carries. Very pleased with rookie Nelms performance today. He had 3 tackles, 1 sack, 2 hurries, 1 knockdown and a forced fumble.

Great Game Memphis, thrilled to have beaten a great team.

                          Holy shit, a win.

-Darrell Schindlbeck was a great pick, 4/5 Key Blocks.
-What a difference Roger Boren makes, the pass defense was a lot better with him rushing the QB.
-Jay Nori really didn't impress in his first game, throwing 3 picks.
-Randy Richardson still didn't do shit, even with my gameplanning, he never touches the ball 20+ times. =(
-Warren Poland surprised me and didn't throw an INT.

My offense was bad. Only 229 yards of offense. Perkins accounted for 116 of them.
QB Kaplan is 100% and will start against Yuma in "The Rumble in the Desert"

Wow. I don't know how we won that game. Every time I looked Boston was running through my secondary. GG Boston, I feel lucky to have gotten that one.

Bad news though. MLB Glen Jude broke his leg and is out for the season. With an already bad line that does not spell happiness in South Maryland.
