Jim patches in a way that it doesn't matter when the GMs update. The commish machine is the only one that matters.

Ive heard the veteran minimum will mess with peoples cap numbers. It may push teams over causing them to lose picks. is there an validity to this?

You can only lose picks if you're over the cap at the end of FA1. Non-issue for this league.
