Who you got? Who is going to win? Trash talk?

    Portland @ Anchorage
One of the leagues best rivalries kicks off the season. The spread has Anchorage by seven points. I have one significant injury going into the game, which might be a season long turf toe to rookie FB Wally Fulton. I think this game is really going to come down to who passes the ball better. I'd put money on QB Jay Nori and his trio of WRs.

No better way to start the season then to face our good friends in Portland. We need to take advantage of starting our first 3 games at home. Especially since we had 4 straight on the road last year to open up Nori's rookie campaign.

We get Denver at home. The new look Riders are excited to show off their offense.
Defense is the name of the game though. I predict a shut out by the Riders defense.

I plan on taking Nori out.

San Fran. Always nice to start the season with a blowout loss. Ugh.

I would have been a lot more confident going into week 1 against Gainesville without our top WR and DE out. Rookies Austin Dennis (DE) and Robbie Maddux (WR) will both be pushed into larger roles than we were wanting to give them at this point. That being said, we're happy with the development of QB Tom Skeen and RB Sedrick Thompson ran all over Gainesville last year. Good luck Aaron.

Thompson scares me but my D is better than last year w/ the addition of S JJ Fedolfi and the way Rookie DE Leslie Sawle played in the preseason. Its time my front line started injuring QBs like we did two years ago. Might as well start w/ Skeen.

Herb Nikolaus will start the year at QB for the Stags. Barrett and Cobbs are fighting to see who will challenge Herb in seasons to come. The Stags bring a lot of talent to the table this season. Toby Richard needs to step up after having an off year at SE and Buddy Offord needs to play to his potential. Sean Wilkerson , when healthy, is one of the better deep threats in the game. Jack Taylor is getting a little long in tooth but is still a good all around back.
On defense if the Stags can pressure the passer they will again be one of the leagues premeire units. They have actually strengthed, arguably, the best secondary in the league.

                      Good luck Washington

Fedolfi is going to be a huge difference maker for you.

Kalispel is going to rape us.

Free paper bags are being given out at the game.

I think that our defense looks to be pretty tough. I'm not sure what to expect from our offense, though. However, we look forward to extend our 3-game win streak over the Chicago Chumps.
