  • Season Preview 2011: AC South

    AC South

Memphis – With new management in place, the Admirals stumbled out to 2-4 start last season, and then proceeded to win 9 of their next 10 finishing the season at 11-5. Don't expect to see that again. This is one of the leagues best teams lead by QB Dusty Cowell.

New Orleans – This team is lead by a high powered offense and a defense with playmakers. Rookie CB Sam Logan moves right into the starting lineup I don't think the Stingrays have the talent to challenge Memphis, but this team will be in contention for a wildcard.

Waco – This squad snuck into the playoffs last year based on a few tie-breakers. They were lead by RB Skip Allig and his 1,600 rushing yards. He will have to do that again for this squad to contend. Behind a suspect line, I don't see that happening.

Port City – This is now QB Sammy Dillon's team. Problem is the first round pick out of Central Florida is nowhere near ready to lead a team to a competitive season. Port City will struggle to finish above last in this division.

    Division Prediction
    1. Memphis - 12-4
    2. New Orleans - 10-6
    3. Waco 8-8
    4. Port City 3-13
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013
