Not pretty, but an important win for the Mechanics over Boston. Did just enough offensively to get the job done despite converting only 2 of 11 3rd Downs.

The D really won the game forcing the Irish into 4 FGs on 5 trips to the Red Zone... plus a big INT on a late Irish drive with MC holding only a 1 point lead.

Game balls go to the youth movement....

    - The rookie kicker hit some clutch FGs late
    - 2nd Year DE Jackie Patrick recorded 1.5 sacks
    - The youth on the Oline is kept the Jiz upright much better this week than last
    The Great One!

    Too many rings to count.

We had complete control of the game in the 1st half, but just let it get away from us in the 2nd half. During that first half, I thought Ellis was saving his job, but this is the final season for him to be the undisputed starter if he doesn't start winning more games.

Yeah, nice win.. Our defense seemed to.. Leave the field, I guess in the second half. I am used to them tightening up more as the game goes on, so I felt pretty good at the end of the 3rd, but your team just could not be stopped late.

That was a frightening collapse for us.

We probably never will go undefeated though.. Guess we just need to right the ship and continue.

You outplayed us the whole way. Good game.
